I didn't name any names though.![]()
You didn’t have to I knew who you were talking about.

Romo was the better QB but just couldn’t stay healthy so I think Rivers will go down in history as the better player based on what he was able to do over 16 years.
If we are talking about total career, Rivers just for his statistical accomplishments.
If we are talking QB acumen and throwing the football, probably Romo.
If we are talking about impregnating women, definitely Rivers.
Which one is which? I think both are the other C word.If you just look at the overall numbers, there's no real difference.
But do understand that we're comparing one of the best clutch QB of his era with probably the worst clutch QB of note.
They both suck!! Neither won a SB, so they aren't as good as Dilfer!!
I don't know what Tony Romo's problem was. If I was to speculate. He was an individual. He had a BFF. I just don't think he was a people person until he got married.
I love Romo, bit I bet he would rather have Dilfers ring than his stats. Real competitive people would. Idiots that don't know crap, wouldn't.Dilfer wasn't why the ravens won a Super Bowl, it was the ravens defense. The ravens won the Super Bowl in spite of dilfer. Dilfer is also the only starting QB in history who was released after just winning a Super Bowl. You must be a huge Romo hater to even try to compare Romo to dilfer.
.
Not true. For QB pro bowls actual mean alot since only 1 QB makes first team all-pro per year which is insane since it has the highest longevity of any position but it has way less all-pro then other positions (you can have 3 quarterbacks hog all the all-pro selections for a near 2 decade span, there's way more than 3 hall worthy QBs in 2 decades). Hell just look at his draft class alone, it produced 4 franchise QBs with over 50 years of combined starts and not a single one of them made a single all-proDifferent era. Pro-bowls mean very little.

So you can't get the joke??! Figures! See ya!NOBODY ever said Romo didn't want a ring, but that doesn't chage how foolish it was for someone to try to compare Romo as a QB to dilfer as a QB.

Eventually, we will get to:
Who was better, Romo or Batman?
Who would make a better Vampire, Romo or Jerry?
The game has evolved so much, from the 1970-90s to now, so it's unfair to compare Romo's stats to guys like Staubach and Aikman. Same thing applies to comparing Rivers to Fouts and Humphries. Rivers has also played in four full seasons more worth of NFL games than Romo did, so of course some of his stats like interceptions look a little worse than Romo's.Lets see. Romo holds all or most of the Cowboys passing records as does Rivers holding the chargers passing records. Rivers has thrown more picks. Now lets also look at the value of which teams records are better. Romo holds the passing records of all Cowboys QB's that went to 8 Super Bowls winning 5, Rivers holds the records for a charger team's QB's that went to a single Super Bowl they lost. So I say hold the Cowboys passing records is much more valued than holding charger records. As far as passing stats Romo has a higher yards per attempt and a higher completion percentage. Rivers has thrown for more yards but also has thrown 70% more passes. So with that I'd say River's statistical records don't beat Romo's.

I'm not saying I agree or it's fair but reality is Canton will NOT keep an 8x pro bowler at one of the 3 tier 1 positions (Left Tackle, Defensive End, and QB) out of Canton.

Fact: Rivers is top 10 all-time in passing will end up in the HOF, Romo will not.
Fact: Rivers has played in a Conference Championship game, Romo has not.
Fact: A Tony Romo team never even beat a Phillip Rivers team.
Look man, I love Romo and am a huge Cowboys homer myself, but to undermine Phillip Rivers's career like that is just ludicrous.
1. Romo never made first team all-pro. He made 2nd team behind a career journeyman in Carson Palmer...... (yeah all-pro is a great measuring stick). Now All Pro doesn't do it by conference and Romo was an All Pro once and Rivers zero times. Romo had a year where he led the league in passer ranting, River zero. Romo made the Top 100 4 times, Rivers zero.
As far as thinking Rivers is a lock for Canton, most people including the talking heads on TV will use the same questioning we've heard about Romo, no Super Bowl wins or even appearances which seems to be the measuring stick for QB's going to canton these days.
