Can someone give me something logical that would make it make sense to me?

It is so clear in my mind right now. Fire Garrett now. Give this team a spark that might help get us more than 8-8 and a playoff embarrassment... Make Richard the "interim" so he has 5 or more games to prove himself and keep it moving. Then make real decisions after the season.

I said this weeks (actually years) ago. Nothing has changed. Garrett serves no purpose.

Jerry feels that he is too old to start over. New coaches, system, etc. He arrogantly feels like he's fielded a team capable of winning now.

The fact that teams like the 49ers, Packers, etc rebuilt themselves so quickly should be an indication that he needs to make the move we all know needs to happen.

I don't think JJ trusts anyone from the inside to even hire as an interim coach. He's waiting for CFB to end so he can contact someone from there IMO. He's just going to let the season crumble and do some work in the offseason.

The way the Cowboys defense is playing why would we give Richard the HC job? He might turn out to be a great HC but maybe he needs to get a message too so his defense starts playing better football as well. When is the last time the Cowboys had a take-away? After the Cowboys failed to get a first down with about a minute and a half left in the game, all they had to do was stop the Patriots running the football for 3 plays, use their timeouts and let the Patriots kick the FG to make it a 7 point lead again. But Dallas would have had a least a minute to drive the field. So what happened? The Patriots ran the football into the Cowboys defense that was stacked looking for the run and in two plays the Patriots got a first down! How do you allow that? That is Richard's defense.

Richard has a lot of quality players on defense. Yet every time they lose, and even when they win we complain about the defense. Richard's defense is part of the problem too. To me, he needs to prove he is even a good defensive coordinator before he can become a head coach.

You did catch the interim part right? Who else on this miserable staff would you suggest become interim?

Especially when they are in 1st place in their division. I am ready for him to go as well, but it's not gonna happen during the season.
