Thanks good read :

Chuck Cunningham Syndrome= I like this one
Ron Howard went to the same school as I did later on.
Mickey Dolenz as the Fonz= not cool
Happy Days’ inspired the movie:American Graffiti ... i was not aware of it
Fonz the game by Sega never seen it

I got the impression the only way Happy Days inspired American Graffiti is the casting of Ron Howard.

I'm glad they mentioned Chuck. I always thought I remembered there being an older brother, but at some point I started thinking I was mistaken. It wouldn't have taken much to occasionally write something about him graduating college, becoming a doctor, getting married, etc., just to keep the continuity of the show......but then, I guess they weren't real concerned with continuity if they had cars from the 70's showing up.

In a candid interview, Ron Howard describes almost leaving the show early on.

That was really interesting. I never even saw the show as centering on Fonzie. It was always mainly about the Cunninghams to me, and mostly Richie. I think renaming it would've been a huge mistake.

I remember watching it back in the day and the Fonzie so called craze. I myself thought he was a boring character. The Aye thing over and over, made me stopped watching the show eventually. I did like Potsie & Ralph.

Oh ya, I didn't start watching the show till around 79/80.
