Just me but I'm guessing their preference is to keep the 3-4 offensive coaches attached to Dak unless it's Sean Payton. I'm looking for a guy with strong leadership. One who how/when to maximize EVERY player potential on BOTH SIDES of the ball rather than trying force him into a system. This is why I'd favor Meyers over a Riley or McDaniel.

Urban Meyer has the best odds to be the Dallas Cowboys head coach in 2020

Jason Garrett’s tenuous position has the speculation train running.

The position of Dallas Cowboys head coach is one that’s being talked a lot about these days. It’s being discussed as if it’s vacant.

Of course, Jason Garrett is the current head coach of the Cowboys but you’re well aware that this is a contract year for him. You also know that Garrett has come under fire since the Cowboys lost on the road against the New England Patriots. Fans are calling for a lot of things.

If the Cowboys brain-trust ultimately does decide to move on from Jason Garrett after this season there will be a lot of interest in who will ultimately take the job next. Our friends at BetOnline have odds for who that person could be, and the front-runner is former Ohio State (and Florida) coach Urban Meyer

Ha, Jerry and Jimmy both at 500-1. Switzer ahead of both. But the Razorback gang are all on the board!

Chip Kelly the same odds as Matt Rhule (who was almost the Jets coach this year)?

Mmmkay...

I like Urban because I think he’ll let his coordinators do their thing instead of implementing a lackluster offense.

Actually this is why I think he'd be a top candidate/fit for this team. He would allow Jerry to keep Moore and Kitna and fire the entire defensive and special team staff.

Jerry may start with that "There are 500 coaches who could have won the Super Bowl with our team." talk.

Perhaps it will be:

-RB (top 10)
-WR (top 5)
-LT (Lael top 5)
-Guard (Martin top 10)
-Center (between 10-15)
-DL (top 20)
-LB (top 30)
-CB (Jourdan lewis is top 10)

Jerry, you'll have to extend the leash quite a bit to get a real head coach.
