Because I don't want Richard to go 2-2, win the division (basically assured right now if we just beat the Eagles who are looking more pathetic than we are lately), lose in the wild card round, but look just good enough to get a 5 year contract out of Jerry and then are right back here. I don't think Richard is the guy, and I don't want anyone less than the guy to replace Garrett. It does matter. It matters a ton.
I'm not a Richard fan. However, at this point, we'd be wise to give someone an audition. Because we are going nowhere w/ the status quo.
Explain to me why you'd want to keep a HC who is taking you nowhere?
I'm still not getting your logic on this one.
We have the tiebreaker on Philly, so if he fires him tomorrow or after the game or even on Monday (assuming the Eagles beat the Phins), we still would be in first. So if Jerry does fire Garrett during the season would he be the first coach fired during the season who's team was in first place in NFL history? That is if they by some miracle do stay ahead of Philly.

Jerry Jones and executive vice president Stephen Jones will allow Jason Garrett to finish the season as head coach, no matter what.

It sends the message that the die was cast and everyone needs to deal with it.What kind of message does that send?
They might be lucky to go 8-8. I could see them losing to the Bears, Rams and PhillyCowboys need a change. 8-8 season on the horizon.
