Because fans care about Eagles vs Cowboys meaning something over a 6-5 Rams team getting in...that's what you are arguing. That the Rams deserve the playoffs more than the Eagles/Cowboys

I’m arguing that the 6 best records should get in.

every year some one gets left out.

I think it’s lame if it leaves out a better team. It’s the entire reason WC was created. I think it’s time to upgrade the playoff system.

Without divisions, every team would have to play every other team in their conference at minimum, just to see who deserves to be in the playoffs.

They don't stand a chance against the majority of the league. They literally are starting people the week they get signed off the street.

they should go back to the play-off format in the 80s.

Normally the 6th seed gets bounced right out of the playoffs. You could argue does a 9-7 team even deserve to get in at all? A 13-3 team should have earned the right to not to even have to play a 9-7 team for the 3rd time in a year that gets the benefit of an offside call that gifts them a 1st drive scoring TD and the benefit of a Patrick Crayton drop.

Normally it all evens out. Normally the division champ has a pretty good record and normally the wildcard teams usually do not have a stellar record. And some years the division is really good & some years it is bad. The NFC West is the best division in football. 2-3 years ago it was the worst.

Yes it does more often then not. But when it doesn’t these weakass division winners could stay at home for the playoffs. Lol
