The team is broken by mediocre cut rate coaching and no amount of player determination will over come that deficit. Stumbling into a playoff is not a sign of a good team.

Something good can still happen, even rather fans believe it or not.
I don't expect it too, but I can see where it can happen.
To at least make the playoffs. After that who knows. The goal is to get there.

We have a chance because the Eagles as of this week look more inept than we do. And that is not the Cowboys fault or the fans wanting them to get to the playoffs.

jerry got booed so bad when they put him on his big vidja board, he was immediately taken off and I'm not sure he's been put back since.

I haven't been to any games in years so I'm not sure thats still true but I hope it is

Change doesn't always come with a signature win. Sometimes it's just looking in the mirror. A loss could be that trigger. A single player. Maybe that player could be Bennett going on his shouting frenzy. This team hasn't learned how to lose, because several have already "won". As a song goes, "when you learn to lose, you'll know what it takes to win". Was the bills game that point? If it was, then get ready for some football. If not, then we'll see who wants this division more. The eagles or Cowboys. Three stooges going: No, you take it. I don't want it, you take it.

Well you just have to get into the playoffs and hope for the best. Team still has the talent to beat anyone. The coaching and inconsistent execution is the question mark.

If this team does get into the playoffs the expectation will be a first round exit. Great to have no pressure and something to prove going into those games.

Those teams had great defenses to come in the clutch, Dallas D can't even generate a turnover.

I do, sure. Because I think you’re way off in what you’re describing as the issues with this team.

This team loses close games to good teams because it turns the ball over and doesn’t take it away. That happens in part because the defense has been underwhelming, but it’s also something that can start to come in bunches when a team gets on a roll. Do I think that’s likely to happen? No. But it actually could.

You guys are mostly smoking crack on the game day coaching stuff. And have been for years. It matters, but not nearly as much as possessions matter. It’s not what’s been getting us beat.
