Stats are less than worthless.

He's the king of garbage time numbers.
Ummm...no. That title has long been Eli Mannings who built an entire career on them.

I do agree that Dak's numbers the last two games are hollow however.

he's got the glitch. when pressured he goes into shell shock, then burns some worms. sheesh. panic city.

All I saw was a qb that was trying to win. His receivers were finally getting open and he was finding them. What do you want him to do? Just lay down and not try to score any points.

We lost a game 3 games ago and JJones opened his big stinkin mouth and they have been crap ever since. You just don't say crap like that about your team or your coaches. STHU Jerry.
Exactly. Fans are going to keep blaming Jaylon, Dak or whoever when the problem is up top. Always will be. All we root for is hoping we win in spite of him.

I went to sleep, and we were in the 3rd quarter with Prescott just over 80 yards passing. Holy cow the last 20 minutes of the game Dak must have been a monster. Did they change the defense, or was Prescott just that good?

Just like every quarterback. You get pressured and you panic. Except this staff.
In the past 5 years, Dallas has not come back from a 7-point second half deficit to win a game.

Not once.

They've only won 4 games that they've trailed at halftime during that span.

Before that, they did it frequently.

Same coaches. Different quarterback.

I guess that depends on whether or not you keep moving the yard stick on what you pay on. In this case Dak will have to end up doing the absolute impossible that no other qb has ever done in history to remotely come close to pleasing half the critics.
The yardstick should never be about statistics. I rail on that idiocy constantly.

Your eyes tell you what he is. He hasn't led the team from a 7-point deficit at halftime or the second half once. Not even once.

If Ryan Fitzpatrick were here, we'd have a better record. If Teddy Bridgewater were here, we'd have a better record.

Why are we going to pay this guy like he's something more than a bus driver?

We shouldn't pay him but, probably will. He's functional at best and is mostly a bus driver. If we do pay him, expect more...many more bad years to come.

what did he throw for in the 1st half of those games? Teams are up big against us and then change the defense to not give up a single big play, and Captain Dak than piles on his menaingless stats that he thinks is gonna help him make in the 35 million a year range. If ANYTHING good has come of this season its that we know who Dak is, and it damn sure is not elite, regardlessof what his garbage time stats say.

Question for you.

If Ryan Fitzpatrick or Teddy Bridgewater was our quarterback all year, what would our record be right now?

Yep. I would definitely take Fitz or Bridgewater next year.

Honestly my hope is a 6-10 finish and Tua falls enough because of the injury.

A man can dream!

Left column in the standings is the only stat that matters.

I don't think Tua is going to be that good in the NFL. And I sure don't think he can stay healthy.

Maybe we can trade Dak and three first-rounders for the rights to Joe Burrow.

Yeah I am not really sure about Tua either honestly but if he dropped to 12-14, I would take a shot.

I like Jake Fromm for a later pick actually but I think he will stay.
