I’ve been telling you guys who’ve been predicting his firing every week that Jerry will finish out the season with him. It doesn’t take a crystal ball to figure it out.

And I think he knows he should have. He has to know that the end is here and the longer he puts it off, the worse it will get.
I think it's likely that the Cowboys will not win another game this year if Garrett is not removed. His situation has become a distraction and the Cowboys lose focus too quickly in games. It's burnout.
The Eagles are in bad shape, but they will likely rally.
The Commanders are playing better under Callahan.
And the Rams are next.

SO DID I. But looks like they didn't because they have zero confidence in anyone on staff as the interim. Makes sense now. IT MUST BE THAT DARN BAD.

leeblair you were right about JG from the beginning. Too bad the homers from the ranch forums couldn't accept reality.

Moore has the pedigree. He should be the one to take over as interim.
He was raised to be a coach and was the best quarterback in college football. He's qualified.

Thanks. I took a lot of heat for it. Lol

there is no guaranty listening to Jerry he is fired after the season, Jerry hates looking the fool and that is where he is at right now with JG.

Or maybe he thinks losing 3 games in a row, to teams with better records at that, while disappointing isn’t exactly a fireable offense.

Is this a real post?

Because if that’s his thinking he’s a bigger idiot than I ever imagined.

Jerry is intent on going down with his ship, then.
I've got news for him- there is no hunt.
I don't know why you would fire a coach midseason when you are in first place in your division. Obviously not playing well and little chance of doing anything in the playoffs. But what do you gain really, other than satisfying fans?

What if the interim coach manages to win the division and wins a playoff game somehow? Are you making things harder for yourself?

Really? Rather thought he had it in his mind to wait for the other HC names, and just let this play out as is. It’s smart too, you’re not going to fix it in practice. That’s what I now think is their big issue. Why nothing is changing from game to game. It’s something they had to resolve prior to season and now it’s too late. Garrett did mention to that effect earlier season, that it was too late to tear down and rebuild, and you just got to go with it. Paraphrasing but that was the gist. It does make sense as to why nothing is getting better...it can’t in season, unless players execute it themselves. Seems to me...a small margin for error game plan that works great when great, but down right awful when bad. Plus? This franchise doesn’t go into seasons with a mindset they’ll be dead last in takeaway depts,or Maher will miss more kicks we need, than having 62 Hail Marry kicks etc. or that your drafted players helping that year will amount to Pollard.....well they should.

Guys , Jason has been consistent for 10 years now .
Jason hasn't changed . His results haven't changed .

Why do you guys expect Jerry to fire Jason ?

History dictates Jerry will extend Garrett another 5 years .

The wheels have already come off.
It's hard to get worse than that.

If that were true, he would have won the Heisman in 2010 and not be a (4th) runner up.

Jerry Jones doesn’t know **** when it comes to his own team. He’s tone deaf and blind and has been for 25 years.

Moore hasn't failed the way Garrett already had as Offensive Coordinator for 3 years, and he hasn't backstabbed Garrett the way Garrett did Phillips.
And Moore was raised in coaching and he is the winningest quarterback in college football history.

That’s what they were talking about during the post game show on the Ticket..What coach has done anything to deserve to be named interim?

Garrett. Garrett. Garrett. Garrett. Garrett. Garrett. Garrett. Garrett. Garrett. yada yada yada.

Jones makes the decision who would be interim coach. And the resume he would base his decision upon (despite your hype) would be pathetic, which is why I said you are channeling Jones pretty clearly.
