It's better when you say a 2nd stringer has earned more playing time than when you say you're removing snaps from a starter.

One way sounds like you're making the team better, the other makes it sound like you're making sacrifices in your next game in order to punish someone for their play in a previous game.

And up till last week I was still optimistic we could turn it around but the absolute worst thing we could do is get in playoffs by default and get bounced first game

My point was it doesn’t matter, our coaches won’t be here next year. This should have happened long ago, too little too late for Garrett to hold some kind of accountability.

In 2017 we had an opportunity in the last game of the year to give Rush and a few young guys some experience, to hell with winning the game it would just set us back a few spots in the draft. Nope, Dak played the whole game and we beat a team sitting most of their starters something like 6-3, what a freaking waste so Garrett could get his 8-8 season.

I meant the next staff
They get tape on the guys at the bottom of the roster in real games
See if they are worth even to bring to camp with new staff
I am certain there are better options at atleast the backup QB spot just from seeing what other teams backups have done this year
I’m not sure we would not be competing for top pick if rush was playing this year
