Cowboys not a team but a "brand"

dear fellow fanzone freaks---- heard sport talk show person say the trouble with cowboys is this is no longer

a team...but good players more concerned with their "brand" like Jerry is

we see the "wolf call"..or "feed me"...or Jaylon Smith "swipe"...or #31 "pistol draw"

or Daks passing yardage or the "hot boyz" etc etc etc...and then Maher saying..he liked the way it felt

when he hit the ball so he will sleep good tonight.( but missed easy field goal and then kicked it out of

bounds on kick off ) that was a 10-point turnaround...all, the glitz and glimmer and distractions surrounding

cowboys and being a cowboy takes its toll...to counteract it there must be strong and disciplined leadership

maybe things will get better next year?

It is why Jerry Jones is the worst thing to ever happen to the Dallas Cowboys PERIOD!!!! Jerry is the most selfish, egotistical human being I have ever heard of bar none. His image should be the example of selfish in any dictionary. Dallas will NEVER win a Superbowl as long a Jerry has control, EVER. The sooner we all realize this the better it will be for each of us. That way, we are never going to be discouraged by the expected fail.

I can't name one player on the team I like besides Sean Lee, Robert Quinn, and Michael Bennett, Travis Frederick, Zach Martin, and Lael Collins. The rest are overpaid losers. And what's with Jaylon Smith celebrating when we're getting blown out? Why is that tolerated? He's an embarrassing clown.

I used to be able to name every single player on the team. Now I could hardly care less.

I'm hoping the losers go 6-10. I want Jerry to get raked over the coals even more by Aikman and the rest of the media.

keith--ya i have been a fan for 45 years..and never did a year rip my heart out liike this on..i mean 1989 going 1-15 not nearly as bad cause we knew we sucked...this was suppose to be an "all in" year and we got so suckered punched

So we need to understand what it is and know going in we are the new Cleveland Browns and to not expect anything and just watch the game as pure entertainment and be happy win or lose. I said it before and I'll say it again. Nothing changes until Jerry sees empty seats in his palace on GameDay(alot of them), declining merchandise sales, low TV ratings for his team. Man from all the complaining about this team on this board I would think the fans displeasure would manifest itself somehow but at Cowboy games you never see fans with bags on their head, signs saying the Carrot gotta go, get us a real GM Jerry cuz you suck!

I never see any if that so why should things change

Jerry once said that his desire was to make that star one of the most recognizable logos in the world.
He has...
After 25 years of mediocrity and nothing to show... this team is the most valuable sports franchise on the planet.
Think about that for a moment.

The most valuable team on the planet.

Not the Yankees, Patriots, Warriors, Liverpool etc...
Choose your sport and teams who have enjoyed success over the same time span...
none come close.

Jerrah of course, but he is a businessman who knows how to make money.

The players, of course... playing for the star is meaningless... all it means is potential endorsement deals and exposure.
Just look at our useless QB... you get the picture.

No the ultimate problem, is the fans. All of us myself included who are goaded into believing this is the year.
Who buy the merchandise and wear the star proudly and defend this team against our friends, coworkers etc...

We are to blame. Period.

only then will Jerrah do what it takes to get back there.
