Not criticizing him, tbh. Get the best LBs and they would do it in this scheme. Just check how our LBs are placed on RPOs. Any capable above average RB would break free right through them.

Not really. Yes Lee has played in every game but his snap count reflects limited usage. Lee has played 483 snaps, that's 54.1%. Vander Esch has played 528 snaps, 59.2%. That in just 9 games. These are season total stats. I've been a Lee fan since his rookie year but it's time for him to hang it up. The LB position, thought to be a strength going into the season, is now a big question mark. Smith hasn't been what we thought he might be, Vander Esch might have a serious neck issue, where does that leave us?

That’s not as true as you’d believe. His snap count is less than 50% in all but 3 games in which LVE has been out. In fact, if it were true, he wouldn’t still have 50 less snaps on the year than LVE and LVE has been out for a while.

You theory would suggest we have a lot of starters simply because they have a stat in a game.
