A scary team when it believes

It was only one game. I’ll say it twice, it was only one game

Ok now that I’ve said that, I do believe that this team could get on a roll. December momentum is everything in the NFL.

Speaking of which, the team that they’d likely play in the wildcard round, the 49ers, seems to be slipping. They’ve lost two out of the last three and that third one was won on a last minute field goal.

If Dallas does win out and catches fire in December, they’re going to be a tough out for anyone. And I believe that they’d play the Niners hard in Dallas and probably win that game outright.

The team we saw on Sunday only showed up one other time this season against Philly. The Cowboys don’t show up every week. The effort we saw on Sunday we didn’t see against the Bears the previous week. It will be interesting to see if the team finally builds off a great win and shows up next week with the same effort and intensity or they’re back looking flat and uninspired. The last time we showed up in Philly with a chance to win the division we got our wheels blown off 44-6.

This team has to know that every game is a playoff game from now on. The team that gets hot in December and gets on a roll is a scary team to have to play. Let's all hope this is the case here.

Goff & Gurley don't scare defenses anymore.

The 37-10 and 44-21 version of this team could beat New England in the Super Bowl. Too bad it only shows up twenty percent of the time.

If we beat Philadelphia and secure the division title, I'd hope Garrett would rest the starters in the season finale because Dallas would be locked into the No. 4 seed with no chance of moving up or down.

Agree, as it is not like they can improve any by playing, unless they play about a half, then pull them. Just to keep any momentum or continuity going. As they do need that.
They could treat it like a bye week to get healed up if needed.

The team is scary when Dak takes charge. KM gets away from the run game too easily. Dak and Zeke know this. When Dak takes charge and kills KM's called pass play on 1st or 2nd down and opts to stick with feeding Zeke, this team plays better.
Yes, but our offense has to keep the defense guessing, so that means we have to attack what they're giving us with efficient and unpredictable play calling. The problem I see in all of our losses is #1 really soft lazy defense and #2 not taking what the defense is giving us so that things can open up. Feeding Zeke works when we are over powering teams, but that only happens when Garrett finds a way to get them fired up, so once again, coaching has a huge part in all of this working.

I'm not so sure how much of the firing up of the team Garrett is doing these days. The players seem to be getting that from their leaders. Look how the old men on the team made plays. Garrett has stopped clapping and the players are taking control of the morale.

I watched the post game show as well as various player interviews and they all concurred that Garrett gave the best speech they had ever heard. There is no doubt that Garrett pulled out a scene from an old Bob Stoops locker room speech to rile the troops... Garrett is good a couple times a year and getting the guys to play out of their minds, the issue is when he has milked his go to speeches too often. On any given sunday, Garrett does have the ability to touch a nerve with the team, but it's way too far and in between. I do agree the players took some liberties, but it's going to take alot more of that and then some to keep the train on the tracks.

Meh, what did he say? "If you guys lose, I'm going to be fired so win, win, win!" lol. Who gets motivated by listening to that redheaded dork?

I'm not privy to what Garrett said, but I do know that many have gone on record saying it was the best speech they ever heard.

We can play with anyone when we decide to play and execute and to play all 60 minutes

Overpowering teams on the O line is more about being healthy and having the right guys. Su'a-Filo is a better lineman than Conner Williams
