Having a problem with Garrett clapping has got to be the dumbest thing on the planet. What’s the alternative stand there with your arms hanging straight down ?I just don’t get it.

Who really cares Im just happy he finally got a kicker that can make 40 yrd FGs . This is a necessary weapon in the NFL . If we play like we did against the Rams for the rest of the season I dont care if he claps spits or blows his nose in his hand on TV

To some people, it's when he chooses to clap that's a problem...he's even clapped when the team does a particularly bad play.

Because of that, he either looks like he has no idea what's really going on, or it's disingenuous....so even if he's clapping to support the team, they know it's fake...like a positive version of the boy who cried wolf.

Imagine giving him credit for being able to stop a bad habit. Try it

Last week fox made fun of his clapping, a video by their comedy guy, and aired it before the chicago
game.
I dont remember him clapping in chicago game, and I watched him during the rams game and no clapping on camera anyway.
I bet it is driving him crazy wanting to clap but he cant, like a smoker who wants a cig, but cant.
He looked miserable during the game. I wonder how long he can go without clapping now?

Now me, screw the video, if I wanted to clap , I would keep doing it, but JG reacts to whatever
is said about him.
Like the 4th down, they said he should have went for it, and next game he just starts going for it.
And one time on his own 20 which was really stupid.

I think that stopped before this season. He'll still clap occasionally but it went from 100 times per game to about 3.

I've noticed more NFL coaches on other teams clapping recently. They are paying tribute to Garrett

The All-22 shows him in the tunnel clapping quietly to himself after the team took the field to warm up for the second half.

Sad, sad, stuff man...
I do not get you guys.

You scream about not winning enough and not beating teams with winning records.

Then Garrett delivers both in one win.

Now his clapping is a joke, etc.

Wow.

I think you guys are good fans but a little too caught up in yourselves to be thinking you are actually affecting coaches and players behavior.

Sheesh.

:lmao2:

Watch Saban if you want to see a clapper and he does it when he needs to rev his team up and I think that's where Garrett picked it up and it's nothing but a habit like Carroll chewing gum like a Valley Girl on the sideline.

I'd rather see Garrett clap than that stupid shoving players in the pads when they're coming off the field after a good play. I don't think they like it and one time Cooper just looked up and rolled his eyes after Garrett almost pushed him off his feet.

George Allen used to do the clapping only he'd lick his palms before doing it. I can still see him doing that and smiling over at Landry. The only HC to really get to Landry in his 29 years of coaching.

LMAO, most of them do it as a way of revving their players, it's not applause for something well done, it's more of a "c'mon guys, pick it up".

Anything Garrett does is going to be an annoyance because some don't like him and want him gone and I am OK with that but I am going to give the guy a round of applause for putting up with the Jones family for 10 years. I don't think we have any idea what that's been like but we got a glimpse when they humiliated him over the Linehan situation. Any candidate better take a long look at that because I have never seen any team do that to their HC. Like to see those clowns pull that with Johnson or Parcells.

Doubt it, the cameras just probably haven't shown it as much.

He has mostly stopped smiling. He has been much more grim most of the season, and that seems to have intensified in recent weeks.
