Done for the season should have placed him on IR already.
Neck injuries are the Titanic of injuries in the NFL and I fear this young talent will have a very short career in the NFL.
Another failed pick by GM Jerry and Co.....

Fail.

We'll see how this thread ages...

Of course not.

"Day to day".

I don't know why they haven't sent him to IR already and started looking at surgery options.

He is not going to play again this season.

I read they are hoping he can play in the playoffs, assuming we beat the Eagles.

That is why they have not IR, he would not be eligible for playoffs if they did.

To answer the OP, no, he is not playing against the Eagles.

I fear his Career might be over soon. He was scratched off a lot of GM Draft Boards completely because of the Neck Injuries in College, now he has Bad Neck again. Thats a Career Killer for a lot of LBs.

I’m not super up to speed on what’s going on w him, but all you haters better just shut up and eat your shoes when he starts balling again...

I really hope he plays and turns it on this week....
Don't count on LVE playing anymore this season. His neck injury is pretty serious from what I've read. Those type of injuries don't heal over night. Remember Peyton?!

His career is over a la Devonte Holloman.

They won’t rush him back. When he is ready he will play. It’s a good thing he hasn’t been put on IR. He should be able to continue his career.

What I am reading is LVE has a herniated cervical disk and he needs more imaging done. They dont mention the degree of herniation on if its an actually a ruptured disk or a bulging disk that could heal. So I assume they will do more imaging to see the extent that this herniated disk is impinging on the spinal cord.

If the disk is actually ruptured, he'll most likely need surgery to continue high level of play if his cervical spine is unstable due to loss of cervical disk function in the stability of the cervical spine. Bulging disks can sometimes un-bulge with PT and decompression of the spine through spinal manipulation.

I wouldn't at all be surprised to see them place LVE in IR, given how long he's been out already. With this organization, injuries are difficult to decipher...day to day usually means week to week and week to week might mean career ending. Whatever the case, they need to be smart and give him the best chance for total recovery.

I'm ready to see the big guy missing tackles again.

In reality Lee is playing amazing, no need to rush him back.
