I think Kris Richard would be a good coach in a normal situation.

The 2 D-Coordinator situation in Dallas is not a good situation.

They should have either given Richard full control and nudged Marinelli into retirement before the 2019 season.

If they were going to keep Marinelli, they should have just stayed with Kris Richard as the secondary coach and defensive passing game coordinator.

Note: I have to explicitly say defensive passing game coordinator because last season or this off-season some people at CZ thought he was the passing game coordinator for the offense and the coach of defensive backs...
