Lowest Cowboys TV ratings in a decade

When the Cowboys played the Patriots a few weeks back it was the highest rated regular season game since 2007.
And could still only pull a 32.5 in Dallas. There was a time they were in the 40's and close to 50.

The LAR game pulled a 31.5 in Dallas. By contrast NO pulled a 58, BUF a 49.4, PIT a 45.9 and GB a 43.6 in Milwaukee. The highest local rating of the season was the NO game, 38. And that was without Brees playing.

Vast majority of viewers are haters , not fans . Cowboys blowouts will always suffer many defectors.
For real though! Just like when everyone would buy floyed mayweather jr. PPVs in hope of seeing him get ko’d

I believe many just expected the rams to kick our butts so they chose other things to do. I also think the ennui inducing tandem of buck and the "hall of famer" troy is wearing thin on viewers. Could be the reason troy is auditioning for a fo position lately.

If you want to look for hope that the owner's hand might be forced with a "credible" HC, read the link.

If the Cowboys are not the TV darling as they've been, that will get a reaction from this owner only second to a drop in revenue. It is important to him that they are #1 in both.

The other interesting ratings are locally where the Cowboys can't pull a 33 share when playing the Patriots. That means 67%+ of the viewers in the DFW prefer not to watch the Cowboys against the defending SB champ.

There is another movement on in the DFW market with the Mavericks and their young superstar, Luka Doncic, that may get the owner's attention. He will not be happy taking a backseat to Cuban and his team and this kid is for real. And don't think Cuban isn't aware of the opportunity.

The best quote I've seen from anyone regarding DFW as a sports town was when Aikman was asked if Dallas was a good sports town. His reply was "Dallas is a good winner's town".

You want a fire under this owner's butt, let him be second behind Cuban.

Oh boo hoo. Here's what you didn't put in your little rant. All but one of the Cowboys games were seen in the majority of markets and this season FOX has seen a 11% increase from last season. So you're making a mountain out of a mole hill over a single game. Based on your comments I'll bet your nothing more than a fair weather fan and that's just about the same as a fan of another team.
.

Not about the revenue, it's all ego. Who do you think he gives credit to for the #1 ratings and revenue NFL team? The record?
And what do you think will effect the revenue the most? Ticket sales or smaller local viewership.

Nothing would embarrass his ego more than empty seats or fan uprising outside the stadium , etc.

We’ve had low tv viewership in recent years but still sell outs.

This is not a Cowboys problem, this is a NFL problem. Ratings and attendence are way down across the NFL, and while the Cowboys numbers are down, theyre still tops in the NFL

11 of the 15 games so far Dallas has been 1 or 2 in tv ratings 7 games have been tops, and 13 of 15 they have been top 3.

I guess you’re one of those fans who continue to give Jerry a stamp of approval despite his flaws?

Never heard of Diehard fans who are critical of how Jerry runs Cowboys Football ?

Yes , those are national numbers. Not locally.

Let me know when you fall from the ranks of being perfect. {sarcasm}

its mainly the ginger clapper,i cant find 5 people in the whole of DFW to watch his face on TV.

the nfl avg in local markets is 28 Dallas is at 33?

Again like i said numbers are down across the whole nfl. Its been trending down for the last few yrs. But Dallas is always on top still.

Are used to go to the bar and watch Cowboys football. Simply because they would stream it in. Cowboy fans come out of the woodwork when we win. We’re not that loyal. I’m about the only exception diehard Cowboys LOL

So, you think Jerry’s ways provides Cowboys best opportunity for success?

Whether me or anyone else feels that Jones is the problem, until you or someone else offers him over 5 BILLION dollars for the Cowboys and he ACCEPTS, there is ZERO that you, me or anyone else can do about it so whining about it does less than ZERO. I've never understood why so many here whine about Jones knowing it means less than zero and has less than zero chance of changing anything.

How many posts have I read the past few weeks of people not going to watch anymore. I just laugh . Part time fans

As long as there are strip clubs in dallas, middle aged men will be taking young ladies to cowboys games. Stars and mavs games, too. And vegas.
