Dude, go back and look at the play. I'm sure you have all of Dak's superior passes on tape (both of them). If the receivers hands are above his shoulder and the lead hand is BEHIND his head, IT'S A BAD PASS!!!! Especially when the receiver is WIDE OPEN. High School Wide Open, not NFL.

Dak throws behind his receivers waaaay too much. If he ever learns how to anticipate and lead receivers he would be a top tier QB. Right now, he is not.

i understand but you have to make the kick as easy as possible. Throwing the ball away doesn't help anyone plus you have to be careful...A holding call forces you to lose field position and the field goal. They played it right after the lousy throw to cooper that forced them to burn the second timeout.

Picking up 5 yards at the 20 isn't that big of a difference with the FG. Yes a holding call would have hurt but still a 45-50 yard try. I'm not upset that we got points, maybe it gives them momentum if they can get 7 on opening drive of the 3rd and take the lead.
