Since week 7, Cooper had 5 games where he was held for 30 yards or less. One game he had 1 catch for 3 yards, and another game where he completely ghosted. The Chicago game, he showed up in garbage time with Dak and padded some stats - he had 5 TDs within the first 6 weeks of the season, and 3 TDs the last 10 games. His bad hands from Oakland have come back this year, and the "no passion for football" type attitude Raiders fans told me about is starting to show as well. Dude mentally checks out when things get tough.

Might be the most overrated player currently on this team. Topping both Prescott and Zeke. PFF even took a shot at this dude.

Another enigma. Frustrating that his talent doesnt always show, you cannot win consistently with this type

Exactly what I'd do. I'd wash the stink from the Garrett era. I'd be tossing players on the trade block left and right and see who bites.
Yes, put every single player on the block and just start the purge. We will never win anything worth talking about with guys like Dak and Smith.

I mean.. I've seen the guy make huge game winning plays here and he has almost no emotion.

He's like the Tim Duncan of WR's.

My guess is Amari Cooper is just hurt because he doesn't look anything like he did.

Wouldn't Dak have to be rated to be overated?

This Cooper thing is very concerning though. I am sure we will find the angle to make it Dak's fault, but until that time, the Cowboys have to figure this out.

I can live with him on a 7.5 million per year deal. I shudder to think of what he is gonna get on the open market. Consider the pick sunken costs and be prepared to move on. Man we are a poorly run franchise.

I can't. Not worth another contract. Let him walk the plank like many others.

He looks exactly like he did in Oakland and why their fans were laughing when we gave them a first round pick. You're someone else who didn't study up on him and how he performed in Oakland.

Ghosts, bad hands, no passion for football.

You've seen him make those plays at Jerry World, you haven't seen him do that on the road. He did the same crap in OAK but since Cowboy fans don't watch games outside of the team ya'll didn't know that.

We need a reciever that's tough as nails and can play like a true #88.

Take your choice.

1)Laviska Shenault Jr. f/ Colorado.
2) Bryan Edwards f/ S.Carolina.
3) Kalija Lipscomb f/ Vanderbilt.
4) Kendrick Roger's f/ Texas A&M.
5) Denzel Mims f/ Baylor.
6) Chris Blair f/ Alcorn.

This is why I like diva WR’s more honestly. I know Amari is unproblematic, but sometimes, you need to get mad in football to become aggressive. You need to be mad and fight for the ball. Amari doesn’t do that. Dez did. Look at OBJ and Jarvis Landry in Cleveland. That organization is a garbage fire like ours, but I’ve seen them get mad and fight for the ball more than our receivers do. It’s aggravating.

People argue about paying Dak the giant contract and it’s a valid argument. I think Daks contract needs to be under 25 mil a year maybe shorten the years so he can prove himself for a bigger contract. If not he can go test the market for another team. But if that sentiment holds for Dak then it holds double for Cooper. Here is a guy who disappears when covered by the top tier corners in the league. Almost always on the road he struggles to get open.

Maybe pay him half of the top receivers since he never shows up in road games.

The guy is beat up, but there is no valid excuse for the stupid drops that hit him in the hands.

That said, when healthy he is a top 10 wr.

Dak isn't doing any of our WR's any favors with his ridiculous passes.
