It's not Garrett's fault

You fail to realize that Garrett is Jerry's right hand man in their world of incompetence. Jerry thinks up incompetent ideas. Garrett acts on it.

Thats why we get the results that you see on the playing field.

Garrett is certainly the biggest problem this team has. Get rid of him you remove most of the filth and junk of Jerry's incompetent nature.
but in comes stage left the next head coach...who at best will have two years to get anything done and then jerry-meddling is back again...except I think this time around, the next coach won't get 2 years but only one....jerry has mentioned indirectly as much that nothing is going to change.

Wait and see how Garrett moves to the Giants or another team and is 100% successful....Of course its Jerry and it will continue to be his Circus of a team and the anguish won't end when he kicks up his boots as Goofball Stephen is waiting in the wings!
Being a Cowboy fan has become a true Masochistic experience!
I don't see Garrett being 100% successful, I don't have much problem with X's and O's as some haters do. I think in game management during crucial times lack and thus we are in a lot of games, but several crucial mistakes in crucial times leads to losses.....not sure at this stage he will learn that....

Make no mistake about it, Garrett is terrible, but the team was a dumpster fire before he got there. He did nothing to remotely change it for the better.

I really don't care who the next coach is. So long that he will challenge Jerry and do the right thing. That is the problem with Garrett. He is nothing more than a puppet who will do anything Jerry asks him to do. That's why we are in this mess in the first place. Garrett is too weak to stand up for himself and do the necessary things to right this ship. Heck, he doesn't even try which seems to have rubbed off on the team.

So anything to get rid of Garrett is fine with me. It forces Jerry out of his comfort zone and will force him to get a coach that actually knows what he's doing.

A.- 3 Playoff berths in 9 years .
B.- 9 Different Rosters .
C.- Changed the coordinators under Garrett .
D.- Changed QBs and WRs.
Etc...

At some point Garrett cashes 6 million dollar per season, this mess is his doing .

No success in Dallas. Many, many years now. Fault lies mainly with ownership. Jason Garrett is Jerry's smokescreen (that's what a puppet does) to cover his own issues.

Jerry should end the charade and have the balls to put the hc whistle around his neck. Jerry already performs many of the duties a hc does anyway. Who hired Garrett and Wade Phillips staff? Jerry.

I propose the NFL approve the owners box challenge flag bazooka to allow coach Jones to challenge plays. This would be a great addition to the rules for 2020.

So, according to your post, all we need to do is change owner/gm and that will fix Garrett, he would be a good coach.

That is the premise of your post by saying it is all in Jerry. Title and thread is slightly misleading

P.S. Jerry needs the GM and Garrett is garbage. (Just to be clear)

Most of them are the ones who have been apologizing for his arrogance and ineptitude for a decade.

They have invested a lot defending the imbecile and it is too late to back down now.

Check up on them in a few years. Very few will be saying letting him go was a mistake.

garrett is limited as a head coach. he is not purposely sabotaging anything as some may suggest. he is just a limited in certain aspects of the game and I am sure garrett haters will just pour it on...so get it out of your system...garrett is doing his best and his best is just average and not good....that's not his fault.

can you jump 10 feet? why not? because you just can't.....he is limited.

this is all on Jerry. if Garrett is bad and has been bad, then why keep him. why be middle of the pack. if you think we have the talent, then why keep a coach to limit the team.... then you keep a coach in the last year of a contract, what do you expect to happen? catch lightening in a bottle? then no sane, good for anything, worth their play book OC is going to come to dallas knowing the head coach is on the last year of his contract and there is a meddling owner. so he promotes Moore and sells everyone on Moore. and tells everyone if Moore doesn't call the plays, then Moore can come to him directly!!! really...what type of message does that send to the organization, the players, coaches...

this is all Jerry's fault. he is the GM and he needs to be held responsible for this mess.

now, hate on garrett all you want, but your anger is misdirected.

Its run its course.

Time for a change.

It didnt work.

You are correct it is not all his fault but some of the in-game decisions or lack of decisions and clock management and not putting people on the field when he should have overruled coaches rotation so on and so on squarely falls on his shoulders

garrett is limited as a head coach.

Well then he isn’t a head coach. So then one must ask why he is pretending to be a HC and why is he collecting a pay check pretending to be something he is not? It takes a special kind of creep to waste a decade doing this.
