Who said anything about him being guilted into keep anyone (other than you)? Why let someone under contract go just so you can rehire them (probably at a higher salary) in a few days? Talk about stupid. Besides, if an organization fires me and calls a few days later to hire me back, they damn well better get the check book ready because it is going to cost them...big time. Jerry can simply tell the new HC they are free to replace anyone.

I doubt it’s actually noon. Yesterday the meeting didn’t start to like 5 o clock. What a joke . Imagine. We could be interviewing Saleh or someone else from these playoff bound teams but we won’t because Jerry doesn’t want to let go of his precious mistress too soon .

I'm assuming the meeting yesterday was too late and Jerry was already half way into a liter of JW so they had to do a sober re-do today.
