Prediction. He will undermine whoever was hired and convince Jerry to give him another shot in 2-3 years. I am sure of this. Guy is a snake.
LOL..

Can't you see him trying the Pat Riley? Coming out of the front office to save the day as head coach again!

Garrett's a coward who would never leave the safety and security of Valley Ranch to go into the cold, cruel world of coaching accountability. It's why Garrett failed as a HC. Players respect people who earned their keep and Garrett's not one of them. He's a Jones lackey who's sole contribution tot he organization is keeping Charlotte entertained during the draft.

It will absolutely happen. Especially if they hire a second tier guy. Garrett will undermine him from the front office and whisper in Jerry’s ear from day one. He will be a toxic culture killing influence.

Too bad Mrs. Garrett from 'The Facts of Life' passed away, or Jerry would find a job for her as well.

he has Jerry wrapped around his pinky finger..playing him like a fiddle. MUCH of it has to do with Daddy Garrett, Jasons Father. Before he passed, he and Jerry discussed Jason..or so I read it somewhere(not sure if true)...and I think he gave him his word he would look out for him...and his family. The delay may be that ..just saying goodbyes and nothing to do with the team.

IMO, our fearless kingpin leader made his new coaching hire a few weeks ago on his yaught andche is just waiting until super bowl week to name the new coach. I believe Garrett will be retained for the coveted reich's chancellor position.

Everyone should fine someone that loves them as much as Jerry loves Garett.

It's amazing to me that a good portion of the membership here likes to pretend Stephen runs the team but no one is blaming anyone but Jerry for this.
I think a good portion would hope that Stephen was running the team but it's obvious this week that this is all Jerry. You can see it when he talks. Who knows what Stephen feels but I think he is yielding to his father out of loyalty to Jerry. I'm hoping he will let Jerry go through his process and then push at the end for sanity. Assuming he is any more sane than his father.

Personally I think it's still mostly Jerrah and I think Stephen resents Garrett being a favored son

This is a horrible mistake if true. This will make Dallas a very unattractive coaching job IMO. It's already bad enough that we have a meddling Owner/GM. But the old coach still in the building? And perhaps even your boss?

Who will the players see as in charge? Will Jerry fire you and reinstate Garrett during the first rough stretch?

Only Dallas could be this stupid.
