so that is the best you can come up with...victoria's secrets at the stadium?

im not the guy in charge but I don't dislike women so much that it upsets me that a Victoria Secret is in the stadium. The do have a deal with the Cowboys, there is Cowboys VS gear in there.

Just give me one decision this team has made in the last 5 years, that was brilliant?

can you trust this clown show with the upcoming decisions

1. what to do with the Clapping Carrot
2. the Dak contract
3. the Cooper contract
4. the Byron Jones contract

Drafting Dak Prescott

Brilliant moves aren't as common as people think, but some good moves were drafting Michael Gallup, Tony Pollard, Dak Prescott, and a few others, signing La'el Collins, Randall Cobb, Joe Looney, Blake Jarwin and Cameron Flemming, trading for Michael Bennett and Robert Quinn, hopefully the Cooper trade proves to be as good as it initially looked, Extending Zack Martin.

Obviously there were some not so good moves along the way too, as well as other issues, but if the Cowboys were as bad at everything as some make them out to be they would be a perpetual 3 wins per season team and would never have won the division in recent years.

Not sure blind luck counts as a decision. LOL! I'm still p.o.ed about Tristen Hill over Thornhill. Ridiculous.
I am trying to forget that brilliant decision by our FO and there you go reminding us. Now my blood pressure has risen about 10 points, lol.

I thought the reason Garrett has to go is because we have this mega talented roster that he can’t do anything with?

Who do we credit for that?

Even that took lots a luck. Thank you Denver.
Every draft pick except maybe he first 2-3 is dependent on what other teams do that draft before. It still takes making the right choice of those that are available at the time.

Only a couple to me...

Hiring Jimmy (best decision of Jerry's life bar none except some Oil deals we have no clue about)
Signing Romo as a FA (luck not Football knowledge/skill to me)
Drafting Dak (luck not Football knowledge/skill to me)

That's about it for me. Pretty much all the rest of their decisions have been questionable or poor or routine. Jerry is the worst GM the NFL has ever seen given the years he's had the title.

I'll always maintain that the absolute worst thing that has happened to this franchise was winning the Super Bowl in 1995. It made Jerry believe he could do it without a guy like Jimmy.....he's just still too stupid to realize that it was still Jimmy that won that Super Bowl. Ughhh what a nightmare.

lol - that's one of the interesting parts of the narrative. People will claim the team sucks at acquiring talent, and also claim the team has great talent that it squanders. The narrative shifts to suit the argument.

And I say this as one who want's Garrett terminated. I just don't believe in twisting the narrative to justify my belief.

Look, it is not one single decision but the salary cap space has grown from about $3 million in 2014 to about $19 million in 2019 (according to Sportrac).

The question was about decisions in the last 5 years. And obviously there have been some good ones as well as bad ones.
