My goodness I do not want Kellon Moore around here anymore. So things aren’t really changing after all. I want that entire staff give!

And people actually thought Jerry was going to change his ways.

I am actually for keeping Moore with a year of playcalling under his belt and trust he will perfect his own system.

Columbo I am iffy on. He was nasty on the line but I am not sure coaching is for him.

There is no proof of such things being said. Regardless of what the talking heads say. They weren't in those interviews.

And when you have two young smart guys who did well in their first season coaching (unlike the rest of the staff), why wouldn't you tell the new HC you are recommending them? People are reacting like this is a take or leave it thing, when it reality its probably a "please consider Moore and Columbo"

Is it not uncommon for a new "manager" to retain some of the previous staff? Especially if said manager actually likes said staff?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again..using Meyer as my example.

Meyer comes in, nails the interview, Jerry says "Ya got the job kid! Check out these guys!!". Urban interviews Moore, likes what he has and decides to integrate his playbook into Moore's.

Something along those lines. For all we know, Moore was choosing from JGs playbook, and wasn't allowed to venture off of the pages.

Points hard to Marvin Lewis then. Just get a defense first coach who will let someone else handle the offense. If McCarthy is OK with this, he is just flat out desperate.
I kind of agree and I really want McCarthy. Just don’t want Moore around. I’m fine with Colombo and Brown everyone else has to go.

I'd be okay with a new HC bringing in an OC and Jerry assigning Moore as "assistant coordinator" or "coordinator in training"...but telling a coach that Moore will be the OC? SMH. Meet the new coach, same as the old coach. Like many have said (including me)...we're screwed until Jerry dies.

Let it go everybody. Zeke has a “strong bond” with Gary Brown. Reason enough to keep him around.

same old Jerry. Smfh

What would a person say if the owner and interviewer 'suggested' they keep someone around? If they wanted and needed the job, what would they say?

Conversely, if one of the top candidates, who did have their choice of options, received that same 'suggestion', what would they do?

If the new HC likes Moore and can help guide him in a different scheme, fine by me. If Moore is part of a package deal to stay, then no bueno.

My main concern is that Kellen is Garrett 2.0 in the making and will be promoted when the new guy gets fired.

Now that i can go along with. Just gets a little tiring of people trying to paint the Joneses into something they aren't. It was like Steve Young this past weekend saying Jerry Jones should be the HC because the HC has no authority. Everyone who knows this team knows that was BS. Because im telling anyone that would listen. JG would still be there, Romo might still be there, Dez would still be there if it was all up to JJ and nobody else had any say

If this is TRUE this automatically eliminates Urban Meyer and Josh McDaniels no questions asked. It basically leaves McCarthy, Riley , and I guess Lewis.

why would a guy like mccarthy take assistants who don't know his offense?

the insanity and stupidity of the jones family knows no end. Forcing moore and kitna on people is nuts.

He was being kind even in that statement "in a lot of ways"? "It shines some light"? That's sugarcoating the truth staring all of us in the face. It's clear, irrefutable evidence of the deep, serious Dysfunction going on at the very heart of this organization. Jerry Jones is a delusional megalomaniac that thinks it's OK to do anything he wants, whenever he wants, and however he wants. A billionaire propped up by a 'no lose' NFL system that allows owners to win in the wallet, whether or not they lose on the field. It breeds the arrogance that Jones operates with.

At this point, I have little faith that the next head coach will be an,e to fix what truly ails this organization.

Unless the name is Meyer, Payton, or somehow Belichick, none will have the power or authority to truth change anything.

Well hey...if it’s not Meyer, Payton or somehow Belichick, I’m gonna have to find an alternate time waster from September to February until Booger kicks...

I am not against keeping them, but that needs to be the new HC's decision not Jerry's.

Yes. I don't want to hear about 'suggestions' or 'recommendations'. That's more of what's gotten us here.
