Most of that is due to the media. I was telling a friend the other day their are other teams , Giants, Browns, Panthers who need a head coach and I don’t see them on all these sports shows discussing it like the Cowboys. The Cowboys bring the hits for those shows.

Was it? I think it was a very transparent attempt to stay relevant while real teams compete in the playoffs. He put out a flowery press release praising less than mediocre occomplishments of a hand picked coach. No one cares. Real NFL fans enjoyed a solid slate of games while Jerry’s Rome burns.
