Yep, look towards the coaching trees. McAdoo as OC? Not exactly lighting me up.

I've never known Nolan to be a 4-3 scheme guy, and I think it's so key to stay in this vs totally re-routing and going thru years of adjustment for this defense.
I think it's very important to hit the ground running with minimum adjustment period with the current scheme, imo.

Nolan fits right in ;)

“It's because he looks for a certain type of player. He looks for guys who fit his scheme and have versatility to play multiple spots in multiple schemes. But he also looks for guys who do more than just one thing well.”

I think they will hit the ground running with a 3-4. Lee has played in a 3-4, I'm guessing they bring him back. Vander, Jaylon can be the ILB and nickel LBers. 7 defensive linemen contract expired this year, 5 lbers.. In a way I think Jerry knew what he wanted to do 2 years ago when GB let go of McCarthy.

Base package is basically nickel across the NFL now, for whatever that's worth. I don't really know much about Nolan as far as DC, but I don't see anyone really switching it up much. We just don't have the horses for it. A good DC should be able to adjust to it, I'd think. With smart FA and draft anyway

Expect Witten to be part of this staff. Just a feeling.
