The question is whether or not he's still under contract in DC. I would assume with the hiring of Rivera/Del Rio that they'd want to implement their own defensive staff as well.

Although he wasn't a good HC, he was a darn good DL coach during his time in SF.

Tommy P was the one Mac sat down with in his barn for that PR segment on the NFL Network.

Tommy was part of the suck-up Green Bay press back in the day and props up Mac in order to protect his sources.

Whether it was because they have invested first rounders in their d-line as they have or for some other reason, the conventional wisdom has been that the Skins' strength on that side of the ball has been their line.

And here's the thing about all assistant coaches...

Us fans have zero zilch nada insight into how good or how bad any one of them is... to have insight, you'd have to actually be there to know what a coach had coached players x, y and z to do, and then beyond that, watch x, y and z do those things, only to fail.

Unless one claims hidden cams and mics, we're completely reliant on what others tell us. Aka, reputation.

So there's that.

ive heard of Tim and hes got a decent rep as a DL coach..anything that makes MM/Nolan comfortable and has staff he can trust is positive thing..
