I respectfully disagree. Bob like most us only cares about one thing: Winning and I mean deep playoff runs type of winning. How we win, is irrelevant from a fans POV. All I know is we are a quarter of a century since our last NFC championship appearance. That sucks and there's no other suspect but JJ for why that is.

If Jerry can do his things his way by micromanaging the team and we finally win a measly div playoff game then cool. But pardon Bob and other baby boomers if we are skeptical of doubting the great and powerful OZ of Arkansas. His football acumen speaks for itself as do the past 25 years. I simply won't believe it until I see it that we can win a div playoff game this year or any other year that Jerry is still around to screw things up.

But don't take my word for it, just review the past 2+ decades of what teams played in the NFC championship game. I think you'll find that the Dallas Jonesboys are conspicuously missing. Maybe us baby boomer remember when Dallas was the gold standard of elite franchises. Or maybe you have lowered your standards to match Jerry's results. Either way, we are all fans.

Look, I like the McCarthy hire. I think he’s good for this organization right now. Again, my point here was to simply show the contrast in coach introductions. Please show us the list of GMs who are also owners, also hold press conferences in or near the locker room after games, and have multiple radio shows, and hold press conferences for every big concert, boxing match or tractor pull happening in their stadium.

And which owners of teams that have won the last 23 Super Bowls also served as GM...I’ll give you that one- zero.

thats not what the title of this thread was, it was to somehow make Jerry and Stephen look alone in the way they handle things and its simply not true..

BTW the GM and Owners were at those pressers and it doesnt mater that hes both...

we were not discussing how often he likes to speak, so I showed proof this was a ridiculous thread..

its like the Garett speak threads, its very Ironic a lot of the new coaches all said very similar things ie Process day to day need to look at the film etc etc etc..they also clap and slap butts and ive seen Garett throw flag and yell at a ref..

so so much BS someone needs to set people straight, ill be the voice of reason this place needs..ie Balance..lol

neither do I but throwing around posts like this making accusations that are NOT true need challenging..its not how a press conferences are conducted that has kept us from more SBs, its been posted Jerry did this to announce Jimmy and then 3 Sbs in 7years followed..

BTW we can debate all day long on the drought but facts are this the old regime won TWO(2) SBs in 30years, Jerry and the Joneses while ridiculed, won 3 in the same period..seems to me 3 is MORE..

so what would it had been better to win 3 but spread them out one per decade still giving us 3 but making it seem better because there wasn't a huge drought in between?

so get it straight..I dont drink the koolaid..

Jerry made the much overdue and needed changes this season , thats a good thing..lets move on to 2020 and get passed this narrative of its been over 25yrs..living the past is not healthy..
