We need our OL to improve a lot. Ever since 2016 when they were crowned the best OL, they have regressed. A lot. Hard to have a consistent run game when your OL is not controlling the line. Tenn and SF both controlled the line. Made running easier. You can't just run the ball just to run it.

Also, Tenn and SF both had good defenses. Something we are lacking. Both of those teams had room for error. If they stalled a few drives, they could count on their defense not letting it get out of control. Every single divisional round game we are in, our offense gets zero room for error and we pretty much have to produce on every single drive or we get down big.

I’m hoping like hell that I’m wrong about McCarthy, and I’m trying to stay optimistic... but then a thread like this is created and I can’t help myself.

McCarthy’s 2 flaws in Green Bay were he didn’t run the ball and his defenses mostly stunk. Aaron Jones is dominating now that McCarthy’s gone. The same Aaron Jones who averaged 5.5 yards/carry in 2017 and again in 2018, only to be relegated to a complementary role because his coach wasn’t smart enough to let him carry the load.

Elliott’s superior to Henry? Look at what Zeke did vs the Rams in the playoffs last year and compare that to what Henry just did to the Patriots and Ravens.

im not doubting Henry is good but with Elliott and the previous coaching they often ran him into a brick wall and kept doing it over and over with crap play calling

We have to be realistic about this o line first. I hear statements like, "the best o line in football" or "one of the best o lines in football". They underachieved miserably as a group. Study the game film, find the weaknesses of this line and FIX IT. We pay too much cap for what we are getting from them. I bet the Titans o line makes a third of what our o line makes.
