Then what about Amari and Byron?
I wonder what Quinn is looking at on the open market as well.
Many here will claim they are Cowboys fans yet they want to handicap the team with an average QB at center who isn’t a dual threat QB, a running QB, nor a pocket passing QB. He doesn’t even fit in a category because he’s average/mediocre in the ones I listed. Tell me, how is paying a QB that has shown us practically nothing worth 35-40 mil dollars? I get it’s market price, but when it was time for Alex Smith to get paid “market price” at the time, the Chiefs let him go because he did NOT prove enough. They drafted Mahomes and took off. Dallas should follow suit.
Solid video on whether to pay Dak or not. This pretty much wraps up all the CZ talking points into 1 video.
Facts. Couldn’t have said it better myself.Dak will and should be the Cowboys QB for a long time.
He was the best player on the team this year.
He is a top 5 under 30 QB in the NFL.

Just because people disagree with you, on what is best for the team, doesn’t mean they aren’t fans.
Some people just truly believe that keeping Dak is what’s best for the cowboys. And since they are fans of the cowboys. That’s what they want.
Some fans think it’s best for the cowboys to move on from Dak.
Disagreeing about a player isn’t a lack of fandom.
There is some good QB prospects in this draft too and even vets like Derek Carr and Marcus Mariotta could come in and run our offense and we wouldn’t see a huge drop off.
35 Million is just too much for what Dak offers.
Not according to Dak Attack 40 or whatever his name is. According to him, I’m a fake fan.
Derek Carr is coming off a big deal. How cheap you think he wants to come? He ain’t winning a Super Bowl.
Mariota is interesting based on pure physical talent. But his play has been nowhere close to as good as Dak’s so far.

So your solution to that issue, is to turn around and engage in the same nonsense?
