If Dak gets tagged will there be any team that offers up two 1st round picks?

I'd ask this:

When was the last time a team gave up two first round picks for a franchise tagged quarterback?
5 years ago I would’ve said nobody; however, in today’s league, teams are giving away multiple picks for DE’s. I know it sounds crazy but negotiations can hit a impasse.

I doubt it, But, if I were Dallas, I would match unless their offer to Dak was just ridiculous.

A draft pick is just a different human. What if one is a bust? Then it's just a straight-up trade of Dak and some cap space for another player.
Most likely it will be a considerable difference in cap space. And you have to consider the potential of this team if we hit right.

Pay Dak or Tag and Keep or Tag and Reel in two first round picks? I see a max of 12 teams that would be potential candidates for making a move. Just throwing out "what ifs" here. The day we're allowed to tag Dak:

-How soon will a team make an offer? Immediately, within the first week, during the draft, etc.

-If a team makes an offer would you match or decline? If the Panthers, Bengals, Bears, Bucs, or whoever offer up their first round picks do you brush it off or jump on it? If you decline, why?

Be honest and disregard whatever the Cowboys might do to keep you from answering.

It would be rare that any team would do that for any QB. Not only are you giving up two first round picks, you're also signing the guy to a big contract.

You guys are looking though the wrong side of the telescope here. The only Owner who would be willing to trade two first round picks for Dak is Jerry. The entire conversation is off the table fellas........

Nope. The teams that need a QB badly are in the top half the draft.

And teams with older QBs like the:
1. Chargers could get Herbert or Tua
2.Pitt doesn't have a pick to qualify.

Chicago gave up two firsts for Khalil Mack, then gave him a record-breaking contract. And who does the NFL consider to be more valuable: Khalil Mack ($22M/yr contract) or Dak Prescott? ($28M/yr would be a shockingly small contract). I could absolutely see someone giving 2 firsts for Dak.

Ya but that was when were 3-0 wasnt it lol? He has the luxury of not having to worry about that. There is only 3 QB's id even consider that for maybe 2.

are two picks a concern if you found your guy for the next 10-15 years?

Yeah, but we need to find another QB with one of those picks. Unless we want to roll with mediocrity that will be available in FA. Even if we get the pick right, it'll be years before the rookie is better than Dak is today. Jerry wouldn't risk the team's (and his) window closing.
