Actually, coming into the season the Cowboys were tied for the 14th most difficult schedule, the other team at 14 was the Packers.

so, yeah, both in the top half of difficulty. Neither had a “cupcake” schedule.

I’m really happy that next year we have the 30th most difficult schedule. I think we all need to catch a break after this years disappointment

It has been well documented that Rodgers does not trust any receiver on their roster not named Adams. Seeing how as Adams got 11 targets out of 39 attempts by Rodgers, that seems to hold true.

McCarthy went 11-16-1 in his final 2 years in Green Bay.

The rookie head coach went 13-3 and took them to the NFC Championship game.

What a huge mistake letting McCarthy go!!!!!

Maybe. Only a handful of coaches can last in spots for 13+ years and there not be some weird friction somewhere, or they lose focus etc... Change sometimes is a good thing, especially when the team starts to struggle in the W-L column.

Seems they made a good move based off record.

SF threw the ball 8 times!! GB's defense was abysmal and could not stop the run which is ironic b/c the defense is what got them there. Mosteart was running through holes the size of a pickup truck.

That SF offense is what our offense should look like with a dominant OL and run game.

I don't buy that. 13-3 and an NFC championship game appearance is a good year by any standard. GB really botched there defensive game plan against SF. They should have had 9 guys in the box and forced Garapollo to throw the ball over them. Thats what KC is going to do. But, the GB defense is what got them there. They need a few more playmakers on offense I'm certain they will be contending next year as well.

I've been saying all year that GB was not as good as their record showed, that they were more lucky than good. I watched nearly every game and the ball bounced their way more often than not.

Their luck ran out lastnight.
