Something tells me he knows a little more about practicing as a WR than you do.
Just a hunch.
Who knows more about practicing basketball:
Michael Krzyzewski
or
Shawn Bradley
Bradley played in the NBA. Krzyzewski did not.
Bradley made millions in the NBA because he is 7'6" tall. He is otherwise clueless and didn't even like basketball.
Dez was in the NFL because of physical ability.
Dez is out of the NFL because he is a low character moron.
It is highly likely that many fans know more than Dez about practicing or any subject.
Going out to the practice field and treating it like a game of pick-up basketball or football in the park is not quality practice.
Dez lining up pick-up game style and beating rookie DBs in one-on-one coverage and then taunting them is not quality practice.
The offensive player "should' win in those drills when the QB can't get hit and there are no Safeties or other players to allow the defense to mix up coverages.
People that can't understand the difference between the type of "intensity" that Dez had to the type of real game winning HoF type of intensity that Mike Irvin had, must be morons.
I'm sure to a 5 year old the Dez intensity/demeanor might have appeared similar to Irvin's intensity/demeanor but any adult with a clue should know the difference.
Most NFL players are asshat morons off the field but on the field Irvin focused on doing what Jimmy and Aikman told him to do.
I've seen many training camp practices of both players.
The best thing I can say about Dez in practice is that at least he was more focused than MartyB...
