I just find it incredibly stupid to keep asking Dak for a discount every few months when the price on quality QBs go up every few months.

Bucky Brooks is right about what Dak will become once Mike McCarthy gets his hands on him. Pay him now, it will be peanuts compared to what you'll pay if you wait.
Really would have been peanuts if we had signed him last preseason. JJ and SJ seemed more intent on winning the negotiation over doing what's in the best interest of the team

I believe in Dak as our starting quarterback. He has potential to continue growing, but has some lingering flaws such as his footwork and decision making to improve on.

The Eagles game in December was a pivotal game for us to win and enter into the post season, and it was one of the few times I felt Dak truly contributed to losing the game.

If it is a long term term contract why not structure one with escalating increases based on performance and starting from the high $ 20 millions and capping it off in the high $ 30 millions if he meets the majority of his performance targets over a 5 year period. There would be an objective assessment each and every year taking into consideration the rest of the offense and defense performance including the play calling and injury.

why did he pay Zeke then?

Mistake like it was to pay jaylon the clown and dlaw. I'm sure hes worried about the mistake of paying dak big time now too. I fully understand not buying into dak before this year but waiting makes the price higher. They Shouldve traded dak this season before the deadline if they dont want to sign him

Totally different situation. Qb's are statistically the least likely to be injured. Rb's are among the most likely to be injured. With two years remaining on his deal, a major injury to zeke could have killed his chances of getting a new deal. Also, dak is asking more than double what zeke received.

Dak is disrespecting the fans by demanding $30+ Million for being a middle of the road QB.
