Anyone still remember the petulant sideline behavior? Disappearing in games? Bad routes? Drops?

This would be a waste of a roster spot. Lots of young talented WR's coming out of college every year. Use that spot to try and find a late round or FA diamond in the rough.

We have no one on the team who can be relied upon to go up and catch jump balls. We lost the division on a play the Dez routinely makes. We’ve seen Dez go up and catch a Hail Mary like the ones we needed in Minnesota & New Orleans. We were force-feeding red zone targets to Witten who’s basically a stationary target. All Dez has to be is a consistent red zone threat to have a valuable role on this team, and that’s exactly the role he’s asking for. And with the injuries that Cooper & Gallup keep battling, there’s opportunity to move up. And when they’re all healthy, there’s no reason why you can’t get Cooper, Gallup & Dez all on the field at the same time.

-His teammates still love him
-He’s an insurance policy
-He’s the jump ball WR we currently don’t have
-Dak has progressed enough to utilize him properly
-He’ll sign for the vet minimum

It makes a lot of sense.

objectively i know this would probably be a bad move or at least not a productive move...but i would still love it because i’m such a big dez fan. :p

He’s slowed down for sure but speed has never been his strength. As long as he can still win jump balls let’s do it...on a team-friendly contract of course.
We have Gallup for the jump balls. I personally wouldn't want Dez back but if he put the star back on its not like I'm gonna not cheer for him...

The guy has dropped so many third down drive killing passes. Forget about him please

Cue the rue-age. LOL.

I'd like to see it but honestly don't see a need if we re-sign Cooper.
it would be more like Cobb vs Dez....we still need a third option like Cobb so that would leave a shot for dez..
