They keep watering down their beer and being happy that there’s more of it to sell. It’s really sad.

Yea those days are gone with Lilly when playoff money was incentive. Now it’s less than most game checks.

Back to the TV contract. I’ve heard part of the motivation is Networks might not be offering for first time an increase over last deal . And the league sees adding games and playoff broadcast as leverage to a bigger deal.

Like you said as usual, all about the money which really shouldn’t be any surprise. I’d be shocked if it wasn’t. Lol
TV is between a rock and a hard place because there are ad agency mandates that only live TV sporting events are bought and Coke started this rolling with their time shift study with DVR's. They need the live sports programming but they're close to not making profit because of the expense and ESPN continues to shock me with their expenses but they're getting pressure from so much competition. I have to allocate an additional 10 minutes on Saturday mornings just to plan out the college football day. It truly is a viewer's paradise.

The question is what role will the internet giants play in this? They're taking network TV down and could even further by taking the NFL away from them. Amazon, Apple, Disney, Hulu and Netflix are already set up to just take it over and could offer those channels free with ads with the flick of a switch. Network TV is in the same position that ESPN is in, be on the offense to play defense.

There is one little fly in the ointment for the NFL, 18% of US homes are not connected to cable, satellite or the internet and dependent on the old standard over the air reception. That is a sizable number of households. And that's not all just people who can't afford it but includes a lot of just not choosing to play along people. The tin foil hats they wear to repel the internet and satellite waves still repel TV waves and still come in handy. Plus they can keep the hats on the rabbit ears when not in use.

i dont care about tv stuff and let’s start talking about who is good at stuff. Tiger woods used to be blasted at the beginning of his career, and after he went thru his crap.
Now, he is loved by all. It’s the biggest hypocrite stuff I’ve ever witnessed. He used to be judged on how he eats, it was that ridiculous.

if dak gets paid, I personally will have him under the same microscope. He can’t handle the pressure that will come his way because he isn’t good enough. It’s that simple.

Dak is and will be free to negotiate with other teams. Cowboys would live to get out of it. Problem is dak wants to keep it alive because he has no other options and can easily create controversy and Jerry doesn’t want to look like the bad guy.

Although, dak will soon find out out from Jerry’s former players that **** don’t work and is unnecessary by good players around here.

I know one person will be just fine when this all ends and his name starts with a J. The other one is looking for cameras
