Wow.
Thanks!
Wow.
Brees has regressed mainly due to injury and age. Before I finish this article I would like to point out that they ranked Drew Brees at 27.
Even looking at the rest of the names, even if you purely judge based on the deep ball, I am just not impressed by the metrics they use to judge. Like I am sorry but just no.
YPA =/= deep passingHis 10.9 vs those 2 teams wouldve been 1st in IAY/PA. His 7.6 vs all other teams wouldve put him 12th in IAY/PA. But to do that with Dak means we would have to do that with all other QBs. We would have to go look at other qbs schedules and look at all their deep passing attempts vs bad teams and look at ones vs good teams, like I just did for Dak, figure where they would stand vs each and then fit Dak in. Im sure that wouldnt fit your narrative that Dak sucks though.
keep 'em coming. All the more firepower to use in a trade to get those high picks. Here's the link to page 1 to see the whole article:

Here's page 3, containing Daks's entry:

The article contains videos, charts, and explanations of the methodology. Here is the text from Dak's review:
21 of Lamar Jackson’s 36 TD passes came against the Browns, Bengals, Dolphins, and Cardinals. All picking top 10 in the draft this year.YPA =/= deep passing
and hey, if you can show me that Lamar Jackson threw half of his TD passes against two of the worst teams in the league then I will look at his numbers funny too. We know that’s not the case though.
I get what they are going for and I get the pure rankings, but I watched a lot of the snaps of these QBs and I probably should have saved most of my mocking for the number 1 but this list is silly. Murray is great, I watched a TON of him because of a friend, but he is not the best deep ball passer in the NFL. I get he has a lot of stats to back it, but this, similar to Dak's passing yards this season, require context and once context is given those numbers, while impressive for a rookie, do not equate to being the best in the NFL.
Why lamar? Can we do wilson? lol Rodgers? And what is your perimeters for bad teams? Bad defenses or just bad teams?YPA =/= deep passing

You must be using “new math”... either that or you may want to run those numbers again.21 of Lamar Jackson’s 36 TD passes came against the Browns, Bengals, Dolphins, and Cardinals. All picking top 10 in the draft this year.

I would imagine most quarterbacks throw a good amount of their touchdowns passes against the lesser teams on the schedule. Good teams are good for a reason
You do realize this wasnt written by a cowboy fan.So four drunk guys had nothing better to do than find a way to make their QB look better than a pig with lipstick. That's pretty much what I was thinking too.
I remember Aikman saying you either have it or you don’t. But he manned up and said he was wrong and Dak has improved.I LOVE IT!!! Dak getting better every year and its making some of y'all sick!
It was Jason Garrett's playbook genius!Stopped reading at "The reigning mediocrity of Jason Garrett was not enough to prevent..." since Kellen Moore called plays.
Can't discredit Garrett for something he didn't do.

Both sides are exhausting. Talking about garbage times stats and not having any 4th quarter comebacks is just as insufferable. My God, how many times can the same crap be repeated? At this point people should just be able to copy and paste previous posts to save time. Or better yet, just post a link to one of the many other threads discussing the same topic and just re-read. Nobody is changing their mind and no new opinions are being shared. This is just as productive as yet another thread on the Dez catch/no catch play.Love all the stats showing up trying to convince folks Dak is an elite QB. Pretty soon, we'll forget New Orleans, NYJ, Buffalo, and Philly.......8-8 with 5 wins coming against 3 of the 5 worst teams in the NFL.
How 'bout dem 30 TDs!

They're a bunch of bold faced liars. And some still claim he hasn’t improved or that he’s hit his ceiling. Too many facts point to the contrary
It won’t stop even after he signs or even if he leaves. Its not going to stop until he signs.
