I'm shocked to learn this. My teachers and the government have been lying to me all my life. I always thought the earth was round, but that claim is just a lie due to a massive conspiracy. Don't believe me? Here's a video where a few dudes prove beyond all doubt that the earth is flat.

I know this video was made as a joke but in general YouTube is a cesspool of false information.It is google after all.
I am more suspicious of the video creator motive

That just got too irritating to even watch. I only made it to 2:47. Once the doughnut talk started, I was done. I know this was tongue in cheek, but there are actually people who believe this stupid crap and I hate them with every fiber of my being.

This is due to people believing anything that other people tell them any not even questioning it for a second.

It's like people today are incapable independent thought. They require other people to tell them what they believe. Then you have these articles, TV shows, etc that claim to be news, but are actually just taking advantage of these people. It's why I've always said that 100 IQ being the average is just not good enough.

If only people would think for themselves rather than letting the rest of the world pound lies into their head and then them take that as truth. People with that mentality will never become more intelligent. They will just because more ignorant of the truth.

Everyone should question everything.

The mainstream media can't be trusted 100% they have their agendas too .
As for critical thinking it is gone long time ago we are a society living on impulse and sadly it will get worse.
