Every receiver drops balls. What was worse is the fans who want Dez back made excuses for why that drop was on Dak and not Dez's fault. Sorry, but don't want a player who isn't expected to make that catch.
And he pushed off

Just for grins..

You are showing this because the DB is holding and it's pass interference??

Isn’t he supposed to be some physical beast that people believe will help in the red zone and he can’t come down with that catch? Yeah, don’t need that.

He seriously talks about Dez being our #1 WR.

At best, #3, and that's if Cobb leaves.
I have no prob as a #3 WR if Cobb leaves. When Dez said he would like to replace Witten if he is leaving..

Some thought. Dez was saying he wanted to play TE.

Nah..

He wanted Witten's opportunities to move the chains.

I believe he could. He could also go wide and one of the wideouts play the slot. Actually makes alot of sense.

In this play Dez is looking to his inside for the ball.

DAKs pass is drifting across Dez's face and Dez has to look to the left. The throw is short and late and the DB recovered.

We saw Dak throw this all last year. Cannot lead a WR, throws behind them and the DB knocks it away.

As a Dez hater, you sure know how to prove your case. Hope you are not a prosecutor attorney. You are a much better Public Defender.

Wrong.

The only ones who blamed Dak for that dropped throw were the Dak haters.

"LOL", and it only took me 11 seconds of watching the video to get there.

Surprise, YouTube doesn't allow you to spam clickbait videos. What a shocker!!!
Hahaha..

Never said this was Earth shattering.

Just off season interesting. The passes with Mahomes I liked. But I like Mahomes period.

So what I gather with your list of excuses for Dez is he needs a perfectly thrown ball. What exactly is his strength supposed to be again and what value is he supposed to bring to the team? It appears he would be just another dime a dozen receiver with no special skills.

So I know this is going to tweak a few Forumites here..

But with no live sports to watch, we have to remain entertained.

There are some interesting points here and some footage of Dez with Patrick Mahomes working out together that make you go..

Hmmmm...

I don't remember the FO ever saying they "wanted to bring Dez back", I believe JJ said not to rule it out but that was the extent of it. People are blowing the waaaay up, talk is cheap, I doubt Dez ever comes back....

Dez would play for a ham sammitch at this point. If if it was gonna happen, and it’s NOT, it would have happened already.

The pass hit Dez in the hands, NFL receivers make much tougher catches. Contrary to popular belief NFL quarterbacks don’t always make perfect passes, and I’m not Dez hater or a Dak apologist.
