Good player but that’s way too much money.I’ve been wondering that myself. Eagles getting Hargrave totally killed my mood though

I say he did us a favor.....
As I said earlier today, I think he is a strange dude who is into comfort vs say going to any team with big cash. I may be wrong but with the draft WR group etc I'm not sure market will be as high. I think he signs here. Dak is the one who I think is wanting large money with not much wiggle room
?For me, I really wanna sign Michael Bennett. I think its real important to have his veteran leadership on the dline and he's still fairly good. He still gets it done.Sign him to a 2 year team friendly deal. Make a push for a high end DT then draft a couple.

Sounds about right. In between what KC expected Watkins to be, and Thomas. Watkins was signed to be a 1A type guyBingo!!!!!!!! Pretty simple, his market ain't what he thought it would be. With a draft class loaded with talent and number team using standard three wide-receiver sets, it's a hard pill to pay him $20+M. I'm guessing his market value is right at $17-18M.
ok.I give..why don't u like that idea? I am curious. He may have been our best player on the dline late in the year. WHICH SHOWS US HOW BAD WE WERE UP FRONT.
AGAIN.........its not about money with Dak. Its the length of the deal. He wants only a 4 year deal, no longer.
I agree about him being a strange dude. But if he’s not just about the big cash, why didn’t he sign with us before free agency?
ITS ALWAYS ABOUT THE MONEY. I suspect all Dallas has to do to keep that 5th year is add another couple million. That's fine, but one year seems crazy on both sides to dig in heels.

we need that. WE NEED THAT LOUD MOUTH GUY THAT CAN BACK IT UP. Too many choir boys or " rkg" WILL get you beat. We are not nasty enough on the defense. Bennett gives us some edginess and attitude. He is a leader. Hhe likes it here too. I think we can sign him on the cheap and still invest in higher end DT's. Good for depth too.Just seem like an odd "must sign" type comment. And I dont see him as a good leader. I see him as a loud mouth distraction that runs his mouth when things go south. We need young stud in there.

I don't like him either. He's a bad person off the field. THAT SAID, my personal feelings aside, we need that thuggery on the field. I think he offers depth and some swag and toughness. Dude is durable too.I do agree we need a nasty leader that will keep everyone in line. I just dont think Bennett is that type of guy. Dont like him.

he was disruptive and helped the dline at least get some pocket push in the middle. Sadly was too late though. He provided some spark and a new voice to the young dudes. Like I said, the wheels had come off by the time we got him. Was too late. I would love to see what he would do under a competent staff.Maybe, but what did he offer last year?
