Top free agents were signed almost immediately and their deals announced quickly. Perhaps the fact that all is quiet so far on Amari front means that he was given the opportunity to get his best offer and then allow DAL to match? Rather than a bridge having been burnt and he quickly takes best offer elsewhere? Just trying to read tea leaves...

I say its a good sign for all of our free agents at this point. No need to freak out until the majority of them are gone

Yep. The big names almost always sign in the first two days, and I haven't heard a peep about Amari. It's a good sign.

Amari is a strange guy to figure out. I don't think he's a money chaser, but I'm not really sure about that. He's definitely not going to sign some silly bargain basement contract.

Slater said his price was too high for Philly. So the market may not be as rich as what he was hoping. He is probably not going to approach Thomas money

I’ve been wondering that myself. Eagles getting Hargrave totally killed my mood though
there are still some very good free agent DT's out there. Reader, Robinson just to name 2. As long as we choose wisely, we are fine.. It could mean we are wanting to keep Michael Bennett. He would come cheaper and was pretty good for us. I like his nastiness. Resign Bennett, bring in Daniels, take a look at one of these top free agent DT's.

For me, I really wanna sign Michael Bennett. I think its real important to have his veteran leadership on the dline and he's still fairly good. He still gets it done.Sign him to a 2 year team friendly deal. Make a push for a high end DT then draft a couple.

Hopefully it works in our favor. Or Cooper really wants to be in Dallas and is quietly fielding offers to hold Jerry over the barrel with.

The guy pulled himself on the biggest play of the season. Let. him. go.

I assume he’s getting offers and showing them to Jerry, and Jerry’s reaction is what we’re waiting on

so long as we get own top notch run stuffer ..ala DJ reader, Michael Pierce. ..i'm lukewarm with Snack Harrison with a 1 tech his age and size and stage of his career, but i think i could endure a 1 year deal.

He recently said he wants to finish his career in Seattle. Whether the Seahawks are interested, I don't know.

I'm not sure it works like that. Other teams aren't going to allow a player to leverage them. Especially with time being so critical in the beginning of free agency. No team is going to make him an offer, then say take your time, sleep on it and get back to us in a few days. Rather, the team makes an offer and the player says yes or no. He says "no" the team moves on to plan B. Especially since in all likelihood the agent and team reps have been quietly discussing "possibilities " the last few weeks.

Bingo!!!!!!!! Pretty simple, his market ain't what he thought it would be. With a draft class loaded with talent and number team using standard three wide-receiver sets, it's a hard pill to pay him $20+M. I'm guessing his market value is right at $17-18M.

He is in talks trust. More than likely Cowboys got a the cowboys numbers.
