I wanted to sign him when the Eagles did years ago, but he's not the player he was then.

Rated higher? Before he had played a snap in the NFL? Who cares.

Malcolm Jenkins is a very good Safety. He would be a welcome upgrade at safety. Smart physical player!

He’s 32. And coming off a not so productive year. I doubt he has a lot of “better days” ahead. The e-girls released him and they are hurting for secondary help.

Translation: There are better options.
