His name has been brought as a possibility by several sources, just never as specifically as Ruiz and Terrell. He is a guy we shown alot of interest in throughout the process.

I think he is a very strong possibility at 17

I wouldnt hate it, I think you end up with a solid player. I just wouldnt be that excited either.

YGM seems to be the safe pick with a lower ceiling than other prospects with 1st round projections.

If that's how the cowboys want to go I'd rather see a trade down scenario where you see who is left between YGM, Riuz, Terrell, McKinney, etc.

The cowboys are in an unusual situation this year where they need help everywhere, but dont have a dire need anywhere to the point they have to reach.

He is a safe choice, probably a 6-8 sack guy,if we can trade down then i will be ok with it.

I've seen more comments on him being more of a LDE.

Right after the pick, Goodell reinstates Gregory and Smith. Leaving a logjam at RDE with 4 players

I'll be utterly disappointed. If not Chaisson, I'd rather take a chance on the more raw, athletic ends you might see in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. I just don't see the high potential in guys like Gross-Matos and Epenesa.

YGM actually makes sense. He is not the edge rusher we need. But the team is going to have designated pass rushers from the LB position, so I dont believe the RDE needs to be a burner

Definitely could be on a short-list, perhaps more as a trade-down. Good, solid all-around player. That's what I think he will be, a long-term solid player, but not a star in any way.

I like Matos alot and wouldn't complain if we got him. However, I think Cowboys will take the guy that drops in the first.
Henderson, Ruggs, Kinlaw or settle with McKinney.
Falcons are taking Chaisson, I've been spying on their website lol. Lots of sad mocks around here when Chaisson isn't on the board.
Hope Murray isn't the pick.

I absolutely think he’s a possibility in a trade back

Falcons are moving up. And it will not be for Chaisson.

I dont like him for us, but I don't think he is awful.

I just dont see him as some sort of pass rushing great.

I'd rather chance it on Chiassons development than draft another Ebenezer Ekuban.

If you take this guy at 17, it means Chiasson is gone and you're settling. If you're gonna settle for a less than player then just go w the bigger need, which is corner.

There are going to be better options at 17.

YGM isn't super twitchy, but I think he's more a freak that we give him credit for.

"Spencer also revealed that Gross-Matos, who was the Big Ten’s defensive player of the week after a nine-tackle, two-sack performance against Iowa, runs a 4.52-second 40-yard dash, a time that would have put him among the top-five at his position at last year's NFL Combine."

Seen Taco and and Greg Ellis comparisons, but he's a much better athlete than those two.

He has an interesting range. I have him in the 20-30 range. Definitely a trade down possibility, but I dont think he would a huge reach at 17 either
