Twitter: Sounds like Awuzie may get a look at S?

I don't get where this sounds like Awuzie. He could mean Robinson. Like everyone else said apparently.

I'd actually be kinda intrigued to see if Goodwin could play some S. Dude's 6'3 and fast, special team PRO. Seems like a decent enough tackler if he's catching punt returners in the open field while kicking up a cloud of dust behind him.

Just turned 30 so not a long term fixture, but i'm still curious. Probably knows how to study the playbook, I don't think any of us know how well he really tackles on normal snaps, but maybe you can drive him to take out all his aggression of always being a bridesmaid, never being a bride, into destroying people. That's funny to me.

And I CAN'T BELIEVE all of you forgot about the ALL-PRO Chris Westry.

I think this would be dumb. In the final year of his deal, in a pandemic effected offseason that results in less practice, you think moving Awuzie to safety is a good move? Good luck
Not sure why you say that like you are one of the coaches in the lockerroom.

I mean they see these guys on film for weeks at a time.

They chart their coverages, see their strengths and weaknesses over time.

Did not hear you screaming like this when Jones was moved from safety to CB.

He then went Pro Bowl 2 straight years.

Pretty good decision.

So Awuzie has one year left. If he plays well at safety, he gets a multi-year deal to stay.

I thought Awuzie at CB was beginning to be taped and measured last year.

A change might refresh his play

No?

What makes you so sure about what you see?

Where does it mention Awuzie to Safety, I totally missed that part of the tweet. That move would make no sense.

He didn’t say start at safety... could very easily just be referring to depth. With Woods and Dix still the starters.

He didn't, you are right. The problem is, we desperately need a starter.

Anthony Brown actually played some FS in college. Chido was a slot CB. Jourdan was a outside CB. All this being said none of these guys should be playing Safety.

DAL needs a SS and moving a CB doesn't fix that. Jerry, Will, Stephen and Big Mike need to go sign a veteran SS for this season and their some guys still on the market.

It depends on how many people on the roster they feel can play CB and how many they feel can play safety. If they feel good at CB and there is a shortage at safety, then why not?

If they did he wouldn't have to be a starter immediately, so why is this so unimaginable. I'm not saying it should be done, but I don't get why it would be an outlandish idea.

There is simply no way you'd move Awuzie from corner. He's our no.1 corner until Diggs proves otherwise. It is obviously Reggie Robinson they were talking about.

It's not an outlandish idea to take your #1 cb who is in the last year of his contract to move him to safety and put him on the bench? Seriously?

Of course they wouldn't if they feel he is head and shoulders above all the other CB's, but I'm not sure they do feel that way. Plus, there are a lot of packages he could fit into as the 3rd safety, so he wouldn't have to be buried on the bench, plus, if the transition worked, he could be extended and step into a starting role when Dix is gone. They do have to prepare for that, and they didn't get any safeties in the draft.
