Yeah I know, it’s hyperbole, but I didn’t say it, Steve Smith did, and he’s not exactly a Cowboys’ homer.

Watch the video, it’s enjoyable. Enjoy it, drink the kool aid, it’s April after all. We won the spring Super Bowl.

As for a new “dynasty”, all that I will say is that I believe that McCarthy will turn Kellen Moore loose. Lamb to me is a Cooper clone. He’s not a burner, he’s just a great route runner who can make some unbelievable catches. When you put him on the field, this offense is going to score points.

That doesn’t cover up for the problems at safety (Kevin Frazier signed with the Dolphins today - another blow at the safety depth) and our lack of depth at corner. But Todd Archer actually eluded to this today, he thinks the Cowboys are just going to be out scoring their opponents this year.

Like the positivity...……….however:

-Cooper is a burner, that's what he does best and...…………..
-Did you really say that losing Frazier "is another blow to the safety depth"? LOL

Defense is much improved. No question about it. And we have much much better coaching.

I dont know about "being a burner" being what he does best. He runs possibly the best routes in the NFL. He's a technician before the catch. I'd say that's much more his M.O. than being a burner (i.e. DeSean Jackson).

Cooper ran a 4.35 and 4.42. He is the definition of a burner. That's why he was like the 4th pick in the draft.

If he breaks a tackle he is typically gone.

I didn't say he wasn't fast. He's a better route runner than he is fast, especially at this point though.

I really like the pawsitivity. I really hope he's right. With a proper coach, I think it's possible. Let's start by winning number 6.

You keep skipping around the angle.

Cooper is as good a route runner as it gets. He is also a big time speed guy.

Size, speed, route running ratio are off the charts.

Yeah kind of felt the same thing. Lamb will also battle for the jump ball.

KC is in the driver's seat. If Dallas finds itself as the class of the NFC for the next 5-6 years, they are going to have to build a defense that can stop KC to get that next ring.

Lamb is now the best weapon we have on offense. He is a scoring machine. A big play waiting to happen.

This isn't your Garretts Cowboys anymore. Where most rookies are slow cooked and used improperly and to little effect.

Whether this draft and what inspired it means anything in the long term, or not, it's seemingly a good start toward building a new dynasty. Like many of us, I've long been hoping for a return to the glory days for this franchise and their team. Things are looking up, folks . . . :)
Kindly, join me in celebrating the birth of a new beginning! Go, Cowboys!

Yikes you are right, he ran a 4.42 40 at the combine, I didn’t know that. Why is it, then, that they never had him running “go” routes? Gallup got those last year. It seemed to be all skinny posts and those mind numbing curl routes that they ran over and over again.

And yeah, Frazier played special teams and was depth. Look at the depth chart at safety now.

Clinton Dix and Xavier Woods are your starters. Then you have, in this order, Donavon Wilson, Darian Thompson, and Luther Kirk (UDFA).

I have to imagine that they’ll make another roster move there. Reshad Jones? Eric Reid?
