Im actually a little bit excited to see Dalton in a system for the first time in his entire career surround with loaded talent around him.
Wouldn't that be a great way to end a career on a high note.
Dalton has had plenty of talent throughout his career, with some elite rosters sprinkled in.

It's all good dude I'd trade Dak for Romo any day.
Why get Luck? Let's get Romo back.
Romo's broken down and retired..

Lol! So? I said his rights. What don't you understand?
What don't I understand about a guy retired? I don't know...maybe he's not interested in playing in football? He Is afterall...retired. What don't you understand about that?

That's title is misleading. I thought Andrew Luck came out of retirement, the Colt let him go, we sign him, trade Dak to the Colts for two 1sts and all is happy in the world. Hey a man can dream can't he.

Disclaimer: I like Dak but I like a healthy Luck better.

I think the reason why Spags rubs fans the wrong way is that he puts a positive spin on situations that oftentimes don't seem to deserve it. He's been wide regarded as Jerry's shill for obvious reasons. I'm fairly tolerant of it because I value info, even if it's oftentimes jaded. I've learned to be critical when it's called for with Mickey and receptive if it rings true. Other times, too, I think it might be a "wolfpack instinct" that takes over in a negative way. ;)

Why do y'all hate him so much? I rarely even see or hear him and in the offseason I don't at all.

I like to think of myself as a “realist fan” that can see both sides of a debate. My mind tends to be more optimistic because I don’t see enjoyment in being a pessimist.

That said.. I don’t hate Mickey, but he has a tendency to advocate to an unreasonable or irrational degree. He’s a homer for short. When criticism of the Cowboys was warranted..he tends to defend at all cost.

Example: he constantly defended the FO/Garrett for not bringing in competition at Kicker last year even though Brett Maher cost Dallas a game or two. His favorite line ab FA’s... “why do you think he’s available? Obvious if their former team thought they were good, they would have signed or kept him”..insinuating the player isn’t good, which is absolutely absurd. I’m sure most of us would have liked to retain Byron Jones, right?!

Fans couldn’t avoid him bc he was on ‘Talking Cowboys’ & ‘The Break’ podcasts at different times. He was the least favorite person on the show imo. The best thing DC media did recently, was to give him his own Podcast called ‘Micks Shots’. So, for those that can take his babbling, ego centric, know it all attitude.. well, you can still listen to him. (Side note: I could stand hearing him say “And by the way” 20 times a show)

Bottomline, I’m an optimistic fan and find Mickey very annoying and frankly his ego comes off a lil obtuse.

Wouldn't that be a great way to end a career on a high note.

He had some talent around him the first few years of his career and had one of the best receivers in the league in AJ Green. He would still have to put up with our defense which has been a liability for years.

Out of all of the thousands of players who have retired......how many have come out of retirement? Who have actually left the league or a year and came back? I'll wait.
Keep waiting! I don't have to explain myself to your sorry ***

Bout like Dak.

Dak has led us to a playoff win and has a higher winning percentage than Dalton. Dak is only 4 seasons into his career and is still ascending.

He had some pretty damn good defenses too.
I went and checked

His receivers for his entire career outside of last two years(benched for part of last season):
AJ Green and Marvin Jones and/or Sanu

More than half his career behind Whitworth and Zeitler
Always had a 1st round TE in Gresham or Eifert

Lol talk about being spoiled with weapons

Had every player mentioned above minus Sanu in 2015. Wow.
