Should we make a play for him?

No way! Man good thing Dallas never traded for him....that would look awful now.

Another great non-move by the front office.

I haven’t read one sentence about the situation but what am I missing?

His wife put a gun to his head allegedly.

I read rumors that the Ravens weren’t happy with his play any how. Apparently he did lots of “free lancing”? Idk could be a BS story.

“In the wake of his wife allegedly holding a gun to his head last month after she found him in bed with other women — and his brother Seth — the Ravens may be souring on the Pro Bowl safety. The Baltimore Sun reported the incident could violate his contract that isn’t up until 2022.”

Give credit to the Ravens for apparently having a stipulation in the contract that rendered it null and void if his wife points a gun at his head.

I dont get why they want to release him? Just because of this incident?

Ask yourself this question: if they were happy with his play last year relative to his contract, would they release him over that incident?

Of course not. They are having buyer's remorse. The incident is just an opportunity to get out of it.

Earl isn't the player he was in his prime. He wanted one last payday and he got it. Glad Dallas didn't give it to him.
