Ask yourself this question: if they were happy with his play last year relative to his contract, would they release him over that incident?

Of course not. They are having buyer's remorse. The incident is just an opportunity to get out of it.

Earl isn't the player he was in his prime. He wanted one last payday and he got it. Glad Dallas didn't give it to him.

The Ravens have a zero tolerance policy concerning anything that even sniffs of domestic violence. Ray Rice. . . .

You cannot make your assumption.

Pick up Earl and his brother, and we’re set at safety.
Only if we can get the wives and girlfriends to tag along... CeeDee Lamb and Earl Thomas camp battle will be legendary...

Best reflexes in the business Earl and Lamb

Are you kidding me hell ?
yes we need to sign him if he's released.
- Free lancer or not, he's still far better than what we have here with HaHa Clinton-Dix and Xavier even at 30, plus we don't seem to worry about taking chances look at what we doing with Alden and Gregory
So why would be worried about a one time incident mistake guy?

-Of course like it or not if earl really wants to play here he'll have to go for and accept Stephen Jones' low-ball offer.

- and you'd have a starting lineup of Thomas and Haha Clinton did with Xavier and Wilson as your backup with while we're still undecided on chido.
Earl has made a career at getting turnovers
..and If we're supposed to be in this " win now" mode.
