Is Jourdan Lewis going to be the odd man out?

I know that Lewis has been a fan favorite. He didn't have the "length" the last coaching staff was looking for. All the CB's we picked up and drafted this year all seem to have the same height and wingspan.

So, what ends up happening with Lewis? Does he remain a backup? Does he change positions? I don't love him...but I certainly don't hate him. I honestly thought he might be trade bait during the draft.

I'm just curious what the rest of you think will happen with Lewis going forward.

Lewis should be the slot CB covering its most like Edelman Beasley WR

Overated in my opinion. Has some ability but gets turned around easily.

Jourdan Lewis is a playmaker. If he's the "odd man out" then our secondary better play lights out all season long at every position.

He's a good player. He never seems to whine even when not getting a fair shake. Here's to hoping the coaches see what so many posters seemed to see in Lewis. He can play.

I don't think he is.

He's probably our most natural veteran press-man corner outside of Worley and as long as he's matched up against a sub 6'0 wide receiver I think he's fine. I think it might be Lewis, Awuzie & Diggs as our starters with Worley coming in as a big nickel. Brown the odd man out.

If JD is the odd man out it's like Richard never left, and the coaches probably suck.

Lewis is CB1 all day! He replaced both Chido n AB last year under Richard which says a lot...then Worley isn't better, and the rookies are rookies.

A bunch of guys who never saw the field will/should get the chance to this year. Pretty clear our coaching held back many players for many years

The rookies have to prove in practice same as Lewis.

He has a chance to compete for slot corner if not be the nickle. Starting Corners most likely Brown and Diggs if Awuzie is moved to safety. Worley and Canady will be his comp for the 3rd starting spot at corner. Robinson is my defensive pet cat from this years draft but i think he is a year away from seeing the field.
