The knock on Wentz is that he cant stay healthy and this is probably Dak's greatest strength. Dak statistically gets better number because the FO office has drafted well and put talent around him.

Wentz has had plenty of talent and has had arguably the better Oline. They have also had one of the better coaches in the NFL. A coach that won the SB with Foles. Also a team with enough talent to win the SB with Foles.

Better defense than Dallas as well overall.

When its all said done, Dak will be better than Wentz and Goff. I say he's already there.

All those guys are in the same conversation on the same level. The guy that does better will do so because of talent and coaching.

I honestly think Dak and Wentz are pretty much even. You can make a good argument for both. Same draft class. Same caliber of player. That’s why I think they should get the same contract.

They’re probably about the 9th and 10th best QBs in the league, flip a coin for which is which.

I’d be interested in hearing the argument for Wentz

Wentz's team won a superbowl with him on the bench and the backup playing, so there was every bit as much if not more talent on the Eagles

Plus they were considered more talented than Dallas by some of the pundits for a couple years now, while Howie Roseman being lauded as one of the best Gms.

I meant his, since his posts sounds pretty objective. Not the sensationalistic drivel of a click baity boot licker

The funniest part is what he’s really pounding the table over is td to int ratio?
Here’s the career numbers.

wentz: 97 tds and 35 picks
Dak: 97 tds and 36 picks.

so wentz greatest attribute, and the one worth building a case around is virtually identical to Daks? Lol. Too funny. And that’s before we get into the whole “interceptable passes” vs “dropped interceptions” stuff that was highlighted recently.

yeah, Dak drinks Carson’s milkshake. He drinks it up!

I don't get Orlovsky. I think he does good work but when it comes to Wentz....its not even because he defends. You feel he's better than Dak. That's fine. But his obsession comes across as if he's trying to be hired as OC of the Eagles or something.

I really feel there's no wrong answer when you debate Dak v Watson v Wentz........I will say when Wentz was drafted and after 2017 I thought he'd be much further along than he is. He's still relatively young.
Yeah..

I saw this on TV the other day.

It's fine for Wentz to have his supporters.

Frankly, I respected what Wentz did in our 2nd game with them where they ceased control against Dallas and Dak.

Philly was not given alot of chance in that game but they stuck it to us.

Wentz was everything they hoped he would be.

So now a crazy scramble season. Who knows how this works out?

Wentz could turn out to be the new Ellie Manning and have our number going forward.

Won't surprise me.

Yup coaching, scheme, adjustments man.. foles freaking won there completing 73% of his passes in the playoffs and averaging 325 yards a game in the playoffs. Following year takes a 5-6 team and goes to the playoffs. Wentz doesn’t have the talent Dak has. But let’s be real he does have talent, best tight end combo in the league, one of the best lines in the league and the way they scheme to use those running backs , ( look at the bufflo and Green Bay game) is on point. That scheme they run over in philly makes the job easy for the QBs. We have seen what happens with backups in Garrett’s offense

I usually try to stay out of this debate, but this is laughable. You won’t find a single person, the doesn’t own a pair of Dak pajamas, that agrees with that statement.

There was a time when I was comfortable saying there wouldn’t be a GM in the league that would favor Dak over Wentz. I no longer think that’s the case...there would be some. But it’s basically a injury risk reason.

EDIT: nevermind...I read this take wrong at first. You were talking about the talent around them...my bad

Exactly. Now I'm not gonna say his team around him is better than Dak's...but if you are going to tell the narrative you've gotta mention the coaching especially when his players go out. Hell Wentz goes out and they literally don't miss a beat. But because he doesn't have a Amari Cooper he has no weapons.

Prescott has always had a running game next to him. Some don't appreciate just how huge and important that is for a QB. People can talk about wide receivers, coaching, whatever but if a QB has a running game then it generally means the offensive line is rolling. Yes it's different for run and pass protection but regardless if a QB has a running game then they are laughing.
